Developing the skills of SME employees through development services

The aim of the project is to adapt SMEs and their employees to changes in the labour market. Support will be provided to 1000 SMEs (810 micro-enterprises, 150 small and 40 medium-sized enterprises) operating in the Silesian Voivodeship. The goal will be achieved thanks to the participation of 4500 employees of SMEs in development services provided by entities entered in the Development Services Database, also in postgraduate studies. UR will be implemented under the Entity Financing System, the support will be demand-driven. The maximum amount of co-financing for a single service such as training/advice/validation/certification will be PLN 5,000 per person, and PLN 10,000 per person for postgraduate studies in the entire project. The level of co-financing for a single development service will be 50% and may be increased to up to 80% if the conditions set out in the FESL 2021-2027 RRP are met. The own contribution of SMEs will be 20%-50%. In particular, support will be directed to SMEs operating in industries relevant to the region, as indicated in the Wojewódzki Technological Development Programme. Śląski for the years 2019-2030 and to SMEs, whose employees will acquire the qualifications referred to in Article 2(8) of the Act of 22 December 2015 on the ZRK. Maximum amount of co-financing. SMEs depend on their size and are respectively: micro-pre-sales. 50000 PLN, small 100000 PLN, average 250000 PLN. Entrepreneurs and their employees will receive comprehensive information on the project and assistance in operating the BUR platform as part of the activities of 4 Entrepreneur Service Points (POPs) located in each subregion. Tasks of FG: information, recruitment, evaluation of applications, conclusion of contracts with SMEs, monitoring of services, payment of funds after their implementation. Project deadline: 01.10.2024 - 30.09.2027r. Effects: 3600 employees acquired qualifications/competences after leaving the project, including at least 1684 digital qualifications/competences, 844 green ones. It was assumed that at least 30% of participants (1350 people) will acquire or improve their qualifications. The activities will target the identified target groups and be implemented in accordance with the Rules of Procedure and the ‘Handbook (...) for the years 2021 to 2027 on information and promotion’ (fulfilment of information requirements, including posters, plaque – POP marking). Promotional materials will be marked with mandatory character lists, in the content we will provide information about the project from the EU. Key information will be posted on the project website and on social media (retained information and promotion standard and guidelines set out in the Handbook). POP employees will provide information about the project on an ongoing basis (personal, telephone, electronic service), conduct recruitment activities (assistance in submitting documents), support SMEs and their employees (including those with disabilities) in handling BUR, actively promote BUR, support social media (promotion of current POP activities). POPs will be appropriately labelled (e.g. information about the demand-side nature of the project, the right of SMEs to choose their own service/service provider from BUR). The operator will take part in local events promoting the project. We will conduct mailings using our own databases, including the EEN newsletter: A thousand addresses. FG has been implementing PSF projects for over 6 years, we have developed procedures and a network of contacts. Information about the project will be provided to key institutions from the Silesian Voivodeship, e.g. JST, IOB. Cooperation with WUP and GPI.
