The aim of the project is to make it easier for 50 pupils (10 K, 40 M) of the Świder Technical and Vocational School Complex in Świętochłowice to gain experience and acquire practical skills necessary to perform work in the profession in which they are educated, by participating in student internships carried out in the period from 01.03.2024 to 30.09.2026. The project is addressed to students of the technical school and the first-degree industry school of the Technical and Vocational School Complex in Świętochłowice (ZSTiZ), who are not juvenile employees. All project participants will take part in student internships organized at employers with whom the school cooperates and whose activities are related to the profession in which students are educated. Student internships will be carried out in accordance with the Education Law Act, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Participation in internships will allow students to gain their first professional experience, learn about the rights, obligations and rules of employee behavior in real working conditions, acquire practical skills to perform work, establish professional contacts and prepare the student to enter the open labour market. It is assumed that each student will participate in an internship of 150 clock hours. Traineeships will be carried out in professions for which there is the greatest demand on the local labour market (e.g. IT specialist, logistics specialist, electrician), which are directions of education consistent with the process of transformation of the region in relation to smart specializations of the Silesian Voivodeship. The project responds to the need to improve the quality and attractiveness of vocational education and to adapt the educational system to the requirements of the labour market. The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of cooperation between the school and employers in terms of adapting the education program to the needs of the labour market. Duration of the project: 01.03.2024 - 30.09.2026. The project will be implemented in the municipality of Świętochłowice. Information about the project will be posted on the website of the Municipal Office, the Municipal Board of Education and the Technical and Vocational School Complex in Świętochłowice. ZSTiZ will publish information on the progress of the project on its social network on an ongoing basis. The project implementer will develop and print posters for his own needs, which will be placed on advertising boards at the University of Warsaw, MZO and the school. Information materials will use gender-sensitive language, images of K and M will be non-standard, without suggesting stereotypical role assignment. Content in the materials will be gender sensitive and non-discriminatory, non-stereotypical and diverse forms of communication will be used. Information and promotional materials will contain information on the possibility for participants to submit special needs. The Director of ZSTiZ will keep students informed about the possibility of joining the project.
