The aim of the project is to change the way social services are implemented in order to coordinate them by creating and supporting the functioning of Social Services Centres in 10 municipalities of the Silesian Voivodeship. The project provides support for local governments in their efforts to deinstitutionalise social services in the following areas: selection of the path for the creation of the CUS, assistance in carrying out a diagnosis related to the identification of the needs of the residents of the municipality and possible support activities, determining the potential of the municipality in terms of social services, the possibility of using NGOs and other entities operating on its territory, assistance in developing a social services program and ensuring substantive supervision over the created programs. As a result of the project, ten Social Services Centres will be created, which will ensure the implementation of social services that meet the needs of residents. The creation of CUSs will involve adaptation works adapting buildings to organizational change and the needs of people with disabilities. The project will involve partner municipalities selected as part of an open call: Ruda Śląska, Czechowice-Dziedzice, Mikołów, Jaworze, Konopiska, Woźniki, Czeladź, Kamienica Polska, Łazy, Radzionków. As a result of the actions taken, each of the municipalities that will form CUS will also develop a Local Social Services Plan. In the planned CUS Commune - Partners will provide services in the number of three or more of the scopes referred to in art. 1 of the Act on the implementation of social services by CUS. The result of the project will be the creation of an offer of various environmental services tailored to the needs of people requiring support in individual local government units, thanks to which services provided in the local community will be covered by not less than 2400 people with the involvement of 140 people providing services in the environment. The project will be implemented from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2027. For the purpose of informing about the activities of the project, a dedicated website will be created, which will be a source of information about the available forms of support from all project partners, as well as about the activities undertaken by the Partnership Leader - ROPS WSL. Due to the scale of the project, it is planned to organize, among others, two events promoting the project in the form of an opening and summary conference with the participation of the media. Information boards for each CUS and posters/leaflets will be purchased. Information boards in accordance with the model for the FE SL 2021-2027 regional programme will be placed immediately in each location where the project will be implemented. The tables will be placed in an accessible and visible place. In addition, information posters will be printed for potential participants. The CUS equipment purchased as part of the project will be covered with stickers indicating the source of their financing.
