The aim of the project ‘Haven and Refuge in Pszczyna’ is to implement, between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2027, comprehensive measures to support children and young people in institutional forms of foster care, carried out by the Pszczyna District, requiring support due to mental, emotional, behavioural or disability problems resulting directly from the diagnosis of a specific group of 25 pupils of the ‘Haven’ Child and Family Support Centre in Pszczyna and the ‘Family Refuge’ Child and Refuge Support Centre in Pszczyna. Through the implementation of the project, the availability of sustainable, good-quality services will be increased, preventing social exclusion, equalizing opportunities, eliminating deficits and developing potentials. The following forms of support are envisaged: - social activation, - development of potentials and interests, - psychological support, - specialist counseling, including diagnosis and therapy of disorders; -support in the process of empowerment through, among others, mentoring or building support circles. The support will be addressed to children with disabilities (intellectual and/or motor) and children with emotional and behavioural disorders and will be individually determined in scope and form. As part of the information and promotion measures, the beneficiary plans to: - posting information about the implemented project on the website of the Pszczyna district, - informing about the implemented project through information posters - informing about the implemented project on the bulletin board in the Child and Family Support Centre "Przystań" and the Child and Family Support Centre "Ostoja" based in Pszczyna. Information and promotion activities will be carried out in a way that is relevant and accessible to the target group, press releases and materials for websites will be created on the basis of a language that is understandable and accessible, while meeting the accessibility standard. Due to the implementation of the project by the District Centre for Family Assistance, which is in daily contact with support centres - no difficulties are expected in the information and promotion activities undertaken, including as part of the recruitment process for participation in the project. https://pcprpszczyna.pl/
