The main objective of the project is to undertake activities in the field of support for the deinstitutionalization of foster care and support for independent people leaving foster care. The target group in the project are children from the City of Świętochłowice placed in foster care, eligible for foster care, leaving family foster care and care and educational institutions. In addition, the target group of the project are candidates for the function of foster family and family orphanages and persons performing the function of foster families. The target group of the project is 136 people (91K, 45M). The main beneficiary of the project is the Municipality of Świętochłowice, and the project is implemented by the Social Welfare Centre in Świętochłowice. Support under the project takes place in accordance with the Act of 9 June 2011 on family support and the foster care system. Forms of support within the project: - trainings for candidates for the function of foster families and running family children's homes 12 people (6K, 6M) - trainings for foster families and running family children's homes 25 people (21K, 4M) - supervisions and support groups for foster families 46 people (40K, 6M) - promoting foster parenthood - psychotherapy for families from foster care 18 people (12K, 6M) - diagnosis of children from foster care 50 children (30K, 20M) - subject tutoring for children from foster care and family children's homes 16 children (9K, 7M) - rest for children from foster care and family children's home 60 children (35K, 25M) - social skills trainings for self-reliant foster children and a driving license course kat. Effects of the project: - increasing the competences of foster families and support in the performance of their functions, - increasing the number of foster families in the city - promoting the idea of foster parenthood - support for the process of independence The following information and promotion activities are planned, the aim of which will be to disseminate information about the project, the results of the project and the benefits for society resulting from it, and thus to consolidate the positive image of the European Union: - placing the signs of the European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union and the coat of arms of the province or the official promotional logo on all documents related to the implementation of the project and in all information and promotional activities related to the project, - marking the place of implementation of the project by placing a poster at the place of its implementation, - placing a description of the project on the official website of the Social Assistance Centre in Świętochłowice, - placing a description of the project on the created social profile of the project on Facebook, - preparing photographic documentation of the project and placing it on the OPS website, - posting a description and a photo on the website www.mapadotacja.pl, - buying and distributing leaflets promoting the project, - informing each potential participant of the project that the project is financed from the EU under the European Funds for Silesia programme 2021-2027, - providing information in personal form or using posters and leaflets about the project to the Municipal Office, Clinics, Churches, NGOs and other places and institutions with which the target group of the project comes into contact - it is also planned to publish information about the project in the cyclically published Local Government Bulletin of the city of Świętochłowice. https://ops.świętochłowice.pl
