Centre for Innovative Medical Didactics in Zabrze

The aim of the project is to: The "Centre for Innovative Medical Didactics in Zabrze" implemented by the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice is to improve access to high-quality didactic infrastructure by redeveloping and adapting the existing building located in Zabrze Rokitnica at ul. Jordana 38 for the establishment of the Centre for Innovative Medical Didactics. As part of the project, the Medical Rescue Simulation Center, located in Zabrze at ul. Jordan's 38th. The result of the described investment will be the creation of a modern and intelligent, comprehensively organized base for the development of modern didactics in the field of emergency medical services allowing to acquire new knowledge and competences oriented to their application in practice. The project assumes the implementation of construction works involving the reconstruction of the historic campus in Zabrze - Rokitnica at ul. Jordan 38 leading to the creation of: - low fidelity rooms, - high fidelity rooms, - pre-hospital simulation rooms, - real environment simulation rooms, - emergency room with an external driveway, - ultrasound training room with a dedicated multimedia room, - room for basic and advanced resuscitation, - medical dispatch room (control room) - 3D printing center, - virtual reality room, - recording studio, - computer room 24+1 stand. In addition, the implementation of the project will contribute to the purchase of modern equipment in the form of medical or IT equipment, which will be used in the daily operation of the Center in order to conduct modern didactics of the highest standards. The project fits the project type Reconstruction, construction, renovation of premises in higher education infrastructure facilities together with provision of equipment and adaptation of infrastructure to education involving the applicant in accordance with Article 50 of Regulation 2021/1060 as part of information and promotion activities in the project will inform the public about its implementation by posting on the applicant’s official website https://sum.edu.pl/ and on social media websites a short description of the operation, including its objectives and results, highlighting the fact that it received financial support from the European Union . The applicant will visibly include information in the project documents and materials about the fact of receiving support from the European Union. Information and promotion activities will comply with the Guidelines of the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy on information and promotion of European Funds for 2021-2027. In particular, the following information and promotion measures are planned: Execution and installation of 2 information/memorial boards, meeting the requirements set out in the Guide for Beneficiaries FE SL 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion; Placing a description of the Project on the Applicant's website and social media pages; Organisation of an information event foreseen for projects above €10 million; Marking all information and promotion activities concerning the Project with the European Union and European Funds mark; Informing persons and entities participating in the project that the project has received funding; Information and promotion activities carried out as part of the Project will be documented. http://sum.edu.pl
