Comprehensive Cybersecurity Center

The project consists in the implementation of Investments in digitalisation, through the creation of an offer of advanced digital services in the field of IT security, based on the requirements of KSC, addressed to companies operating on the Polish market, other than mines and mining companies and public administration units, with a much higher level of advancement and subjective reach in relation to the basic services offered so far by COIG in the area of cybersecurity. The purpose of the Investment is to expand the Data Center's activity by engaging in new, advanced IT services in the area of cybersecurity, addressed to operators of essential services, digital service providers and public entities, which can be provided - only by suppliers meeting high requirements, in terms of their hardware and software infrastructure, their licenses and certificates, and specialist staff. These services will be carried out using the technical and substantive potential of COIG staff, so far serving the Data Center area dedicated to mining, and by hiring new specialists who will be recruited as a result of recruitment activities, including from job seekers, including those dismissed from mining-related enterprises. IT security services are part of a systematically built strategy in the area of cybersecurity of EU countries, including Poland, which began in 2016 in connection with the adoption of the NIS Directive. Bearing in mind that a new draft NIS 2 Directive was published on 16.12.2020 (COM(2020) 823 final, 2020/0359(COD), which is to be implemented into national law in the coming years, it becomes necessary to implement the described investment, which will allow the Data Center to prepare to offer services that comply with the requirements of the law (NIS 2 Directive and KSC Directive). The planned information and promotion activities in the project will be aimed at effectively reaching the target groups and encouraging them to use the services offered by the Applicant. According to the guidelines, the costs of project promotion are settled as indirect costs. According to the declaration in the cost description ‘Indirect costs will cover expenses related to the promotion of the project, participation in conferences related to cybersecurity’, the applicant intends to carry out promotional activities in a wide range to reach the target group, including by: - placing a description of the project on the Beneficiary's website in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 standard; - conducting promotional activities on social media, which will serve as an additional tool to reach new customers, - face-to-face and online information meetings with potential customers will also be planned, In addition, the Applicant plans to participate in at least 2 conferences (participation in the form of a participant, speaker or exhibitor is planned, and due to the lack of previous information from the organizers about the date and requirements for the indicated forms of participation, it is not possible at the stage of applying for the declaration of forms of planned participation and indicating specific conferences) related to cybersecurity, where the results of projects and offered services constituting the product of the project will be presented https://www.coig.pl/
