As part of this project, the Applicant planned to expand the existing infrastructure and enable the operation of further technology companies for which further support services are being created. This will increase the level of innovation in the region. The project assumes the intensification of activities to support the innovation of the economy and improve the investment climate of the Region and the digitalisation of enterprises by further professionalizing the provision of services by Technopark Gliwice. Thanks to comprehensive activities of promotion and support of entrepreneurship, the project will contribute to the creation of new companies and self-employment. The project assumes strengthening the activity of institutions in the direction of supporting projects for the economic development of the Region, support for companies and the creation of innovations and the creation of new, stable jobs. The resulting infrastructure will be a local infrastructure contributing at the local level to the improvement of the business and consumer environment and to the modernisation and development of the industrial base. The new infrastructure will not be dedicated to specific companies, but will support companies from the modern technology industries that are part of the ‘Regional Innovation Strategy of the Silesian Voivodeship 2030’, including, inter alia, automation, ICT, modern sources of energy generation and medical devices. IT HUB will contribute to the goal of economic diversification and the acquisition and improvement of qualifications of management and employees of companies. A new building will be built, in which its headquarters will be located approx. 20 companies. The location of companies in the new infrastructure will be important for the creation of new, alternative jobs, in particular for former employees of mining and mining-related industries. Employment in companies located in ‘Technopark Gliwice’ will also be found by specialists and graduates in industries replacing traditional industries. The buildings will be powered by green energy Planned information and promotion activities: - marking with signs of the European Funds, colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union, the coat of arms of the voivodeship or its official promotional logo all information and promotional activities related to the project (such as brochures, leaflets, posters and brochures), documents related to the implementation of the project made public (e.g. tender documentation, announcements, reports), information materials or multimedia presentations, marking products, equipment, apparatus, etc., created or purchased in the project by placing durable stickers on them, - marking the place of implementation of the project by placing an information board in the manner provided for beneficiaries, - promoting the project during a cyclical event organized by the Applicant, at least once a year for representatives of companies, universities, local government entitled: "Start It Up", - placing the project description on the subpage dedicated to the project on the Applicant's website www.technopark.gliwice.pl, - promoting the project on the Applicant's social media - facebook.com/gliw.technopark, - informing the institution that granted funding about important stages in the project and planned information and promotional events related to the implementation of the project (including the official opening of a new facility).
