Development of distributed energy based on renewable energy sources in the Commune of Bytom and Radzionków

The project is a response to the problems of the Silesian Voivodeship identified in the Silesian Development Strategy "Śląskie 2030" Zielone Śląskie. It was pointed out that the main cause of poor air quality is emissions from individual heating of residential buildings, and improving air quality is a key challenge for the voivodship. The project responds to the challenges faced by municipalities fulfilling: socio-economic functions, with environmental problems, in the mining transition, for which the challenge is to focus support on improving the quality of the environment. This project involves the implementation of the following actions in individual municipalities (partners): 1) Municipality of Bytom: - granting grants for the purchase, supply and installation of RES installations generating heat and electricity for social and living needs and energy storage, - an educational campaign consisting of various activities affecting the formation of pro-ecological attitudes among residents, - pro-ecological activities that have a significant impact on the achievement of environmental objectives set out in the European Green Deal. 2) Radzionków Commune: - purchase of photovoltaic installations (photovoltaic modules) intended for the production of electricity - 116 installations with a maximum capacity of 10 kWp each, - purchase of air heat pumps for central heating and domestic hot water - 86 pcs. - purchase of electricity storage for new or existing photovoltaic installations for the storage of produced electricity -119 pcs. - purchase of energy management systems - 110 pcs. The project will result in a reduction in CO2 emissions of at least 2692,3685 tonnes CO2-equivalent/year. Information and promotion activities will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Guide for Applicants and Beneficiaries of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of Information and Promotion and the Guide for Beneficiaries of FE SL 2021-2027. The applicant shall carry out at least the following activities: - will include signs: European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union and the coat of arms of the voivodship on all e-publications, brochures, publications, websites, newsletters, mailings, film materials and any other promotional, informational and project-related materials that will be made public, - mark the installed RES installations with durable stickers, which will be provided by the Beneficiary, - mark the places where the project will be implemented by placing 1 information board, immediately after the start of the physical implementation of the project, in places open to the public, - place a description of the project on the official website, - place a description of the project on social media, In the course of the Project, the Beneficiary will document the information and promotion activities carried out on an ongoing basis. https://www.bytom.pl/
