The subject of the project is co-financing the purchase and installation of RES installations in residential buildings located in the city of Świętochłowice. The project assumes assembly of: - 85 new photovoltaic installations, - 58 energy storages combined with photovoltaic installations. The project assumes that 54 warehouses will be connected to the PV installations created as part of the project, and 4 warehouses will be connected to existing PV installations. Photovoltaic installations will enable grantees to use renewable energy, reduce energy consumption from the grid and reduce CO2 and PM10 emissions in the energy sector and increase the installed RES capacity. In turn, energy storage facilities will ensure more efficient operation of RES installations and protect, among others, against switching off PV installations in the peak of sunlight. The project also assumes the implementation of activities in the field of dissemination of knowledge about RES. The implementation of the project is a response to diagnosed problems related to poor air quality in the Silesian Voivodeship, including in the Upper Silesian agglomeration designated under the POP for the Silesian Voivodeship. The city will implement information and promotion activities in accordance with the requirements of the General Regulation, the Guidelines on information and promotion of European Funds for 2021-2027 and in accordance with the Visual Identity Book of the European Funds 2021-2027 brand. The grantee shall mark the devices purchased under the grant with informational and promotional stickers, which shall be provided by the Grantor.
