The project, implemented in 2024-2026, assumes the purchase, supply and installation of RES installations generating heat and electricity along with energy storage on 11 public buildings in Tychy (4 primary schools, 4 school complexes, 2 school-pre-school complexes and 1 kindergarten) and on the ground. The material scope includes 5 pcs. of air heat pump cascades, 21 pcs. of photovoltaic installations, 27 pcs. of electricity storages and 12 pcs. of thermal energy storages. The implementation of the project will contribute to the creation of photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of at least 0.8916 MW and air heat pumps with a total capacity of at least 0.292 MW. As a result of the project, the CO2 emissions reduction will be at least 780,6305 tonnes CO2-equivalent/year. The project also assumes the implementation of 11 energy management systems in individual facilities, pro-ecological activities and activities conducive to the dissemination of knowledge in the field of renewable energy sources. The project responds to the challenges faced by municipalities with spatial and environmental problems in the mining transformation, for which the challenge is to focus support on improving the quality of the environment. The development of distributed energy will contribute to improving the air quality of the Tychy subregion, increasing the share of renewable energy in the overall energy balance of municipalities, reducing pollution and ensuring the continuity of electricity supply to public facilities. Information and promotion activities will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Guide for Applicants and Beneficiaries of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of Information and Promotion and the Guide for Beneficiaries of FE SL 2021-2027. Beneficiary, at least: - will include signs: European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union and the coat of arms of the voivodship on all e-publications, brochures, publications, websites, film materials and any other promotional, informational and project-related materials that will be made public, - will mark the places of project implementation by placing information boards at each supported institution, immediately after the start of the physical implementation of the project, - will place a description of the project on the official website of the Office, - will place a description of the project on social media, In the course of the Project, the Beneficiary will document the implemented information and promotion activities on an ongoing basis. https://umtychy.pl/
