The project envisages the construction of infrastructure for the production of energy from renewable sources for the provision of collective water supply and sewage disposal services. The project is aimed at improving air quality in the region and striving for energy self-sufficiency of the company. To achieve this, the use of two types of renewable energy sources is envisaged: 1 - Biogas - Electricity and heat will be produced using biogas in the cogeneration process. To this end, an installation for the production of biogas will be built at the Jaworzno-Dąb Wastewater Treatment Plant - The works will include the design of adaptation and the reconstruction of an open fermentation chamber (OKF) into a closed fermentation chamber (ZKF) with a variable fermentation temperature. The closed chamber will be heated with heat from cogeneration modules with a total power of approx. 360 kWe. The necessary facilities and installations required in the cogeneration process will also be built. 2 - Solar radiation - Photovoltaic panels will be installed to produce electricity on buildings or on land next to public utilities. The project provides for the design, delivery and installation of a complete installation, i.e. photovoltaic modules, inverters, complete wiring along with security equipment. The elevated structure will be placed on the ground and on the roofs of buildings in six different locations. The total capacity of the installation will be 782 kW. Information and promotion activities will be carried out in accordance with the Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion. The applicant will mark the locations of the project with information boards - 6 pcs. in the following locations: ul. Saint Francis of Assisi Wojciecha 34, ul. Oak 105, ul. Bukowska 5, ul. Good Energy, ul. Pawia and ul. It's the north. On the Applicant's official website wodociągi.jaworzno.pl, a subpage will be created related to the construction of renewable energy sources on facilities and areas owned by Wodociągi Jaworzno sp. z o.o., which will contain general information on the project, as well as current news related to the implementation of the project. In addition, information about the project and current news related to its implementation will also appear on the applicant's social media. At the end of the project, 1 film will be made, in which the objectives, scope and summary of the Project and the statements of people involved in its implementation will be presented. The film will be available on the Company's online platform and on social media. Publications of paid press materials will be prepared and commissioned in local and industry press, covering, among others, the progress of works, the summary of the Project - a total of 4 publications will be commissioned (two publications at the beginning of the project - local and industry press and two publications at the end of the project - local and industry press).
