The project is implemented in the City of Tarnowskie Góry. It includes three main tasks that significantly affect the achievement of the objectives indicated in the Project: 1. purchase, supply and installation of photovoltaic installations and energy storage for 31 public buildings, 2. implementation of educational activities shaping environmental awareness, the aim of which will be to promote renewable energy sources and energy efficiency among the local community, including by installing photovoltaic shelters for bicycles with the possibility of charging phones at each school and educational fingers of play at kindergartens. The implementation of the project will contribute to the creation of photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of at least 852.69 kWp and 30 electricity storages. The project will result in a reduction in CO2 emissions of at least 556,5289 tonnes CO2-equivalent/year. The project is a response to the problems and challenges identified for the Silesian Voivodeship in the Silesian Development Strategy ‘Śląskie 2030’ Zielone Śląskie and responds in particular to the challenges facing problem regions, including environmental problems in the field of air quality, to which the Municipality of Tarnowskie Góry belongs. The implementation of the task will therefore contribute to improving the air quality of the Tarnowskie Góry Commune through the development of distributed energy on public buildings. This will increase the share of renewable energy in the overall energy balance of the municipality and reduce pollution, including CO2. The project will also make an important contribution to achieving the goals in the aspect of sustainable development. Information and promotion activities will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Guide for Applicants and Beneficiaries of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of Information and Promotion and the Guide for Beneficiaries of FE SL 2021-2027. Beneficiary, at least: - will include signs: European Funds, colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union and the coat of arms of the voivodship on all e-publications, brochures, publications, websites, newsletters, mailings, film materials and any other promotional, informational and project documents that will be made public; - labels devices in each location where RES installations will be installed by applying properly prepared, durable stickers; - mark the place of implementation of the project (at the Municipal Office) by placing an information board immediately after the start of the physical implementation of the project, in a publicly accessible place, - place a description of the project on the official website of the Municipality; - post a description of the project on social media.
