The challenge of Ruda Śląska in the process of economic transformation is the need to develop and give new functions to post-industrial areas, which constitute a significant part of the city's area. This project involves the development of sites and facilities in brownfield, devastated and degraded ‘Huty Pokój’ sites for cultural, environmental, social and educational purposes, which will be achieved at the time of completion of the investment and maintained at a later date. The investment planned for implementation in the project - reconstruction and expansion of the complex of Great Furnace Huta Pokój facilities along with land development, will allow to stop the process of degradation of the facility, and then affect the environmental, socio-educational and cultural character of the City. As part of the project to support the city in the transformation process, a facility will be made available in which a number of activities will be carried out to: - making the Great Furnace complex available for sightseeing, - cultural education related to the industrial heritage of Silesia, - social and environmental education related to economic transformation. These activities will contribute to the preservation of post-industrial cultural heritage for the purposes of environmental, social, educational and cultural development of the post-mining city and region by creating a Transformation Centre in the modernised Great Furnace Huta Peace complex by 2026. The facility will be prepared to achieve the economic goal by carrying out activities aimed at professional activation of people who have lost their employment and rented space as a result of the transformation. The idea of the Project and its results are in line with the specific objectives and priorities of the FE SL 2021-2027 Programme, and in particular with the scope of Priority X. The information and promotional activities planned in the project are consistent with the recommendations/principles in this respect, in particular with the principles indicated in Article 50 of Regulation 2021/1060, and will take into account the specificity of the recipients and products created in the Project. The promotion activities aim at providing two types of information: 1. The fact of implementing the project by placing appropriate logotypes and formulations in information and promotional materials. 2. Promotion of the Transformation Center itself as a utility facility serving both economic, environmental, social, educational and cultural functions. PLANNED INFORMATION-PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES 1. Information and promotion board placed in a visible place 2. Website containing a brief description of the project, the source of funding, progress in implementing the project assumptions and activities in the field of project implementation. The site will be compatible with WCAG 2.1. 3. Information events - organization of the conference/event opening the Transformation Center, during which information on the implementation of the project and its assumptions will be provided. It is planned to invite representatives of various backgrounds, including: representatives of the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship and the European Commission. 4.
