The planned project assumes revitalization and adaptation of historic buildings after the former Katowice mine to new functions. The investment will include land development and comprehensive modernization of the historic buildings of the former power plant, the roof and engine room of the Bartosz shaft and the former water tower with the adjacent rhyming workshop. In the buildings of the power plant and the Bartosz rooftop, it is planned to create a multifunctional entertainment and event space with a foyer and logistic facilities for the organization of various cultural and artistic events and events, as well as an introductory gate to the Museum and the Trail of Technical Monuments. New technical warehouses, generally accessible gastronomy with facilities, guest, office, social, technical and creative rooms will be built in the buildings. In the former engine room, it is planned to display a historic extraction machine. The buildings of the Bartosz shaft complex will be connected with each other by ground connectors, and the main seat of the Museum will be connected by an underground passage. The water tower will have a viewing, exhibition and café space. It will be connected to the adjacent rhyme workshop by adding a glass exit pavilion. At the same time, the area around the buildings will be developed on foot and carriageways, squares, greenery and small architecture. As part of the information and promotion activities, the Applicant plans to keep the public and project participants informed about the funding obtained from the FE through, among others: 1) Placing characters: European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union, the coat of arms of the Silesian Voivodeship or the official promotional logo for: - all information and promotion activities related to the project, - documents related to the implementation of the project, made public, - documents and materials for persons and entities participating in the project, - products, equipment, equipment, etc., created or purchased in the project, by placing permanent stickers on them, 2) Designation of the place of project implementation by placing an information board; 3) Placing a description of the project/implemented instrument on the Applicant's website; 4) Placing a description of the project of the implemented instrument on social media; 5) Organizing an event including a press conference with the ceremonial opening of the facilities at the end of the project; 6) Documentation of information and promotion activities carried out in the project. https://muzeumslaskie.pl/
