Construction of a service building with land development at ul. Ignacy Mościcki 3 in Rybnik

The project is part of the process of reconstructing the post-industrial area of the former "Ignacy" hard coal mine in Rybnik-Niewiadomie, which has been ongoing since 2007. The subject of the project is the construction of a new service and office building along with the necessary land development. The new building will consist of two parts: two-storey with a partial basement containing a gastronomic function and three-storey with a full basement containing service and office premises. Both parts will be connected by a glass connector housing the reception area. The total usable area and traffic area will be 1790.70 m2. The main objective of the project is to support the transition process by introducing an economic function that generates new jobs in the former ‘Ignacy’ mine. In addition, the objectives of the project are: - increasing public awareness of buildings guaranteeing the achievement of the Union's energy and climate objectives (the building was designed on the basis of new technologies in the field of energy saving, generating energy from renewable energy sources, saving and water retention, introducing green infrastructure) - improving the aesthetics of the environment (e.g. reference to the environment, i.e. historical buildings of the "Ignacy" mine through the use of brick as a leading element of the facade) Information and promotion activities will be carried out from the moment of receiving co-financing, i.e. signing a grant agreement, on the basis of the principles described in the "Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European funds for 2021-2027 in the field of Information and Promotion" and the "Guide for beneficiaries of the FE SL 2021-2027" . As part of the activities, it is primarily planned to place a permanent information and/or commemorative plaque in a visible place. In addition, it is planned to mark all documents related to the implementation of the project accordingly. Information about the project will also be available on the website of the City of Rybnik meeting the MA’s requirements, as well as on social media. As part of the information and promotion activities, it is also planned to organise a press briefing at the end of the project, in a newly built facility. https://www.rybnik.eu/city/EU funds/
