The project is an element of the implementation of the strategy of the City of Dąbrowa Górnicza regarding the removal of degraded areas located in its downtown from the crisis state. The area after the former Defum machine tool factory, located in the vicinity of the new communication center at the Dąbrowa Górnicza railway station, will be given new city and centrifugal functions. A local business centre will be established here. The subject of the project is the revitalization of public spaces and buildings designated as H3, H4 and H7 (map locating investments attached). The total area subject to revitalization is 6,809.09 m2. The construction works will include, among others, the reconstruction of existing facilities while maintaining their industrial character, works related to internal installations and the construction of the so-called green and blue infrastructure. It is also planned to purchase equipment. The project uses the historical potential of the place to develop and implement social and urban projects, tailor-made, incubated and adequately supported. One of the elements of the project, which proves its value for the region, is the implementation of the principles of the Circular Economy for the area.
