The project plans to create 7 new vocational training workshops in the ‘Cogito’ School Complex. The main objective of the project is to increase the competences of students educating in professions by creating conditions similar to the real professional work environment in terms of the creation and equipment of the studio. (Details concerning rooms and competitions in the additional annex entitled: "Application field B.2 short description of the project") Vocational education is currently an extremely important area of the education system for children and young people. In the era of constant changes on the Polish labour market, the pace and scope of transformation of the Polish economy, the role of education related to the preparation of young people for various professions is fundamental in the context of current and future expectations of the labour market. Job vacancies are constantly changing to adapt them to newer technology and the capabilities of employees. Staff shortages in craft professions are also becoming more apparent. It often happens that graduates of vocational schools do not know the realities of work in their profession and do not have practical knowledge. At the same time, their future employers are struggling with the problems of recruiting the right specialists for their companies, because it is impossible to assess the candidate's practical skills. Vocational schools place much greater emphasis on practical education. The implementation of the project will create opportunities for young workers to train their profession in real working conditions. Graduates of vocational schools will be able to learn about the realities of the profession in order to decide in the future whether they will develop their knowledge at further levels of education or take up work in a learned profession. From the moment of obtaining funding until the end of the project implementation, the applicant will comply with the information obligation resulting from the provisions of the "Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion" and the "Visual Identity Book brand European Funds 2021-2027". As part of the project, it is planned, among others: - installation of an information board / poster in a school institution, - placing a description of the project on the Applicant's website (address in field B.2.2), - placing an article on the funding obtained and the project implemented on the Applicant's website (address in field B.2.2) and in the Siemianowice Local Government Gazette "Voice of the City", - placing graphic signs on documents and materials related to the implementation of the project, - placing stickers with the fund logo on the purchased equipment; - informing residents about the fact of receiving funding using other local media. https://siemianowice.pl/
