The object of the project is to modernise the classrooms inside the school building and the school workshops at the Home Army Polygraph and Mechanical School Complex in Katowice. The rooms will be intended for the purposes of practical education and training of students of Technical School No. 18 educating in the following professions: Graphic and digital printing technician, advertising technician, printing process technician, IT technician, mechatronics technician and for the purposes of organizing professional examinations of the above-mentioned professions. In the school building, 11 professional workshops and 3 professional foreign language workshops will be modernized and equipped. As part of the project, it is planned to install an air-conditioning system and equip classrooms with didactic equipment. In addition, the purchase of a CTP machine, a digital printer and a cutter is planned. These devices will perform a demonstration-educational function as part of practical apprenticeship for school students and students of Katowice educational institutions who are participants of lectures and workshops. As a result of the project, new development and learning opportunities will be created, in conditions similar to the real professional work environment, and the school's educational base will be made more attractive. This will increase graduates' chances of finding a job and enable employers to hire a well-educated and experienced worker. The aim of the project will be to increase theoretical and practical skills in school-educated professions. Graduates studying in the modern didactic base of the school will have the skills sought in the future job market focused on IT technologies. The costs incurred for the implementation of the project will have a directly proportional impact on enabling the acquisition of knowledge and skills required for the future labour market. Participation in the project will allow ZSPM Katowice to increase opportunities for educating young people in priority professions. In accordance with the Manual of the Applicant and Beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027, the following activities will be carried out in the scope of information and promotion in the project: - The marks of the FE, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the EU and the coat of arms of the voivodeship will be displayed on all information and promotion activities concerning the project, documents related to the implementation of the project and products, equipment purchased in the project, by affixing permanent stickers to them. - Two information boards will be placed at the project implementation site. - The description of the project will be posted on the website and on social media on the applicant's profile: https://www.facebook.com/Katowice.eu/ and the developer: https://zspm.pl/, https://www.facebook.com/ZSPM.Poligraf/ All information and promotion activities related to the implemented project will be properly documented. https://katowice.eu/for-housing%C5%84ca/European funds/funds-for-year-2021-2027
