The main objective of the project is to increase the attractiveness of vocational education in Katowice in the Central Subregion by creating modern conditions for vocational education in smart specialisation industries and occupations sought after on the regional and national labour market. This will be achieved by: - Construction of a new school building with workshops and technical and professional rooms, on the ground floor: computer room, three rooms for learning professional language and other professional subjects, on the first floor: sound editing and interview recording studio, audiovisual room, photo studio with facilities. On the last floor, a "green terrace" will be created - as a space both for conducting classes with young people (open-air photography) and the possibility of installing a school apiary, which has been successfully run by the school for several years. The "green wall" of the building will also be built. - Renovation of professional workshops in the existing school building and their adaptation to the new school concept. On the ground floor: creation of a workshop for the apprenticeship of Technik Elektronik and Technik of Broadband Electronic Communications with an extended didactic base, on the first floor: creation of a physical and chemical laboratory used to teach the profession of Photography and Multimedia Technicians, equipped with equipment for learning optics and photochemical processes. The newly created educational infrastructure will be used for vocational education in the following professions: Photography and Multimedia Technician, Electronics Technician, Broadband Electronic Communications Technician. After the end of the project, the following professional qualifications will be implemented: AUD.05, ELM.05, INF.06. In addition, the new studios will be implemented innovation - bilingualism in the field of Photography and Multimedia Techniques with English (for one of the two annually accepted classes). Duration of the project: IV.2024 - XII.2027. According to the Handbook of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027, the following activities will be carried out in the scope of information and promotion in the project: - The marks of the FE, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the EU and the coat of arms of the voivodeship will be displayed on all information and promotion activities concerning the project, documents related to the implementation of the project and products, equipment purchased in the project, by affixing permanent stickers to them. - Two information boards will be placed at the project implementation site. - The description of the project will be posted on the website and on social media on the applicant's profile: https://www.facebook.com/Katowice.eu/ and the developer: http://abramowski.edu.pl/ All information and promotion activities related to the implemented project will be properly documented. https://katowice.eu/for-housing%C5%84ca/European funds/funds-for-years-2021-2027
