Improving the level of vocational training in Rybnik by expanding and equipping professional workshops

The subject of the project is the adaptation of rooms and equipment of 24 laboratories for practical apprenticeship in 5 teams of schools for which the governing body is the City of Rybnik (Team of Schools No. 5, Assembly of Building Schools, Assembly of Economic and Service Schools, Assembly of Mechanical and Electrical Schools, Assembly of Technical Schools). In addition, in each location, activities related to improving accessibility for people with disabilities are planned, implemented in accordance with the Available School Model, as well as elements of inclusive education. The modernised workshops will enable education in professions compatible with smart or regional specialisations specified in the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Silesian Voivodeship 2030 – Smart Silesia and the Silesian Voivodeship Technology Development Programme for 2019-2030, respectively, as well as with the needs of the local and regional labour market. The main objective of the project is to increase the level of education of pupils in vocational subjects using the modernized infrastructure of 24 rooms for practical apprenticeship in secondary schools of the City of Rybnik. The objective of the project is in line with the objective of measure 10.14 ‘Vocational training infrastructure’ of the European Funds for Silesia Programme 2021-2027. Information and promotion activities will be carried out from the moment of receiving co-financing, i.e. signing the co-financing agreement, on the basis of the principles described in the "Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion" and the "Guide for beneficiaries of the FE SL 2021-2027" . As part of the activities, it is primarily planned to place a permanent information and/or commemorative plaque in a visible place on each of the facilities where the co-financed infrastructure will be located. In addition, it is planned to mark all documents related to the implementation of the project accordingly. Information about the project will also be available on the website of the City of Rybnik meeting the MA’s requirements, as well as on social media. https://www.rybnik.eu/city/EU funds/
