The project covers 7 secondary schools, for which the leading authority is the District of Żywiecki. The project includes the renovation/adaptation of existing classrooms/workshops to practical apprenticeships with the provision of the necessary equipment and teaching aids. In addition, the project also includes the execution of the necessary construction works, adapting the facilities to their use by persons with disabilities, in accordance with the developed "Available School Model" as well as the provisions of the Act of 19 July 2019 "on ensuring accessibility for persons with special needs" (Journal of Laws No. Journal of Laws 2022, item 2240 as amended). The project will be implemented in the following educational institutions: 1. Maria Konopnicka General Education and Technical School Complex in Milówka, ul. Dworcowa 17, 34-360 Milówka. 2. Home Army Building and Tree School Complex in Żywiec, ul. School 2, 34-300 Żywiec. 3. Complex of Economic and Gastronomic Schools in Żywiec, ul. Mickiewicza 6, 34-300 Żywiec. 4. Mechanical and Electrical School Complex in Żywiec, ul. National Education Commission 3, 34-300 Żywiec. 5. Automotive School Complex in Żywiec, ul. Grunwaldzka 10, 34-300 Żywiec. 6. Technical and Forest School Complex in Żywiec, ul. Grunwaldzka 9, 34-300 Żywiec. 7. Prof. Jerzy Buzek Vocational School Complex in Węgierska Górka, ul. Kościuszki 14, 34-350 Hungarian Mountain. Project activities also include carrying out infrastructural activities in the field of inclusive education in each institution. They will consist primarily in ensuring accessibility in all of the above institutions, as well as, depending on the needs of a given institution, additional activities such as the organization of a cabinet for Social Skills Training (TUS), a psychologist's/pedagogue's office with equipment or the creation/equipment of a silence room. The project does not include schools for adults. In accordance with the Manual of the Applicant and Beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion, as well as the grant agreement, the Applicant and the Executors will primarily ensure that documents arising in connection with the implementation of the project, e.g. tender documentation, from the selection of contractors/suppliers, all notices, contracts concluded, documents and materials intended for participants (recruitment documentation, attendance lists, certificates), etc. are appropriately marked with a set of logotypes (the European Funds mark appropriate for the given programme, the colours of the Republic of Poland, the EU mark and the figurative mark of the Silesian Voivodeship). In addition, information and promotion activities will include: - Brief description of the project on the websites (with a mandatory set of graphic characters, as well as information such as: title, name of the beneficiary, sources of funding, value of the project and co-financing, period of implementation, short description of the project, expected effects/benefits, contact details for information about the project, conditions of participation, etc.). This information will be published on the Applicant's website, as well as on the websites of all educational institutions participating in the project. - Information boards placed in all places of project implementation (in all educational institutions) in visible, publicly accessible places. - Marking with information stickers of all equipment purchased as part of the project as part of the facilities' equipment. https://żywiec.powiat.pl/
