The aim of the project is to increase the competences and qualifications of 1,030 people living or working in 5 mining subregions of the central subregion, i.e. Bytom, Gliwice, Katowice, Sosnowiec and Tyskie. The project responds to the need to adapt competences to the changes taking place on the labour market resulting from the restructuring and ecological transformation of the region. Recruitment will be open and accessible to all adults who, on their own initiative, plan to use development services, including postgraduate studies, to acquire the professional skills necessary to work in the green economy sector. Development services will be provided as part of a subjective financing system using the Development Services Database. The maximum amount of co-financing for a single development service such as training / validation / certification will be PLN 5,000 / person, and for postgraduate studies PLN 10,000 / person in the entire project. The participant's own contribution will be 5%. Project participants will have the opportunity to benefit from additional support of a professional advisor in the field of development needs analysis using the Competence Balance model, they will receive assistance in choosing appropriate services, identifying acquired skills and support in their validation and certification. Participants will also receive comprehensive assistance in operating the BUR platform. In particular, support will be targeted at disadvantaged people, i.e. people in the homelessness crisis, belonging to minorities, working in mining or mining-related industries, people with disabilities, people with at most upper secondary education, the unemployed and at least 55 years of age. The result will be 1030 people obtaining green qualifications/competences after leaving the project. The project will be implemented in the period from 01.04.2024 to 31.12.2026. Promotion activities will be carried out in accordance with the Regulations and the ‘Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of the FE for the years 2021 to 2027 on information and promotion’ (fulfilment of information requirements, including a poster, plaque - CC marking, visualisation).
