Idea for a company

The aim of the project is to provide comprehensive support in setting up a business for 40 people working or living in the area of 7 mining subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship: Katowice, Sosnowiec, Tyskie, Bytom, Gliwice, Rybnik or Bielsko. Project participants will be persons dismissed after 28.5.2021 for reasons not related to the employee, foreseen for dismissal or threatened with dismissal. Priority will be given to people working in mining and the mining industry; additionally, people planning economic activity for the green economy will be rewarded. An element of recruitment, in addition to the assessment of the application form, will be an interview with a professional advisor to verify motivation and predisposition to set up and run a business independently. Participants will receive training in setting up and running a company (including legal aspects, accounting, taxes, customer service, promotion, preparation of a business plan) and business consulting (on average 8 hours per person) according to individual needs diagnosed at the recruitment stage. People whose business plan receives a positive assessment, after registering the company, will receive a non-refundable grant of up to PLN 100,000 net. The participant will be obliged to make an own contribution of 5% of the value of the expenses. The grant may be used, inter alia, for: investment expenditure (e.g. purchase of fixed assets, machinery, equipment, software, equipment and equipment, renovation and construction works); b) expenditure on working capital (e.g. purchase of goods, raw materials), c) expenditure to cover other necessary costs related to dg (e.g. promotion costs), excluding the payment of salaries. The eligibility of the grant will be conditional on the maintenance of the activity for a minimum period of 12 months. As a result of the project, 40 new companies will be created. Duration of the project: 01.10.2024-30.11.2026 The planned information and promotion activities will be appropriate to the target groups indicated in the project, based on good practices developed during the implementation of 9 other projects for people starting the business department. Key information will be posted on the project website (description, funding information, mandatory logos: FE mark, colours of the Republic of Poland, EU mark) and on social media. The project office and places of training/advice will be marked, in a visible place, with a poster (format A3) containing mandatory markings (FE, EU, voivodship), the name of the beneficiary, the title, the amount of funding and the address mapadotacja.gov.pl. Project documentation, promotional materials and materials for the UP (e.g. training materials, attendance lists, etc.) will be marked with the appropriate set of logotypes, in the content we will provide information about the co-financing of the project from the EU. FG has been implementing projects for people starting dg for several years, we have developed procedures and a network of contacts. We will conduct mailings using our own databases, including the EEN newsletter: A thousand addresses. Information about the project will be provided to key institutions in the area of support, e.g. JST, PUP, IOB and during local events and information meetings. If necessary, we will carry out an additional information and promotion campaign (including advertisements in the press, distribution of leaflets). All promotional activities will be carried out in accordance with the ‘Handbook of the applicant and beneficiary of the FE 2021-2027 on information and publicity’ and the EU guidelines in this regard. https://www.fgsa.pl
