The aim of the project is to increase the quality and attractiveness of vocational education, and thus increase the competences of pupils of schools educating in professions by modernizing the techno-educational base, adapting the teaching conditions to the needs of employers and challenges in the digital transformation and transition to a green economy and smart and technological specializations of the region. Specific objectives of the project: increasing the attractiveness and flexibility of vocational education, increasing the potential of vocational education, adapting vocational education to the needs of the labour market, adapting the skills and competences of the inhabitants of the southern subregion of the Silesian Voivodeship. The project will be addressed to 553 students (158 K, 395M) who are educated in directions consistent with the process of transformation of the region in relation to smart specializations of the Silesian Voivodeship and 44 teachers of practical vocational training (14 K, 30 M) who are educating students in directions consistent with the process of transformation of the region in relation to smart specializations of the Silesian Voivodeship from vocational schools in Bielsko-Biała. The goal will be achieved by organising training and courses for students, improving the professional skills and competences of teachers working in institutions and supporting practical apprenticeships by retrofitting rooms and renovating and retrofitting facilities. Project deadline: 1 April 2024 – 30 June 2026. Place of implementation: Schools / Vocational Schools in Bielsko-Biała: Bielsko-Biała Industrial School, Bielsko-Biała Education Centre, Technical and Commercial Schools Complex, Automotive and General Education Schools Complex, Electronic, Electric and Mechanical Schools Complex and Construction Schools Complex. The project promoter plans to use the websites of both his own and the schools participating in the project and social media to implement the project's promotional activities. Web-based communication will also serve as a basic information channel for potential participants in the project, information activities carried out on the websites will be complemented by additional tools, e.g. Facebook, the electronic journal. Information about the project will also be posted on the Eduportal portal of the city of Bielsko-Biała. In addition, information about the project will be on information posters located in the areas of schools participating in the project and in the project office. The project will be promoted on the website of the project promoter of the City of Bielsko-Biała (http://bielsko-biala.pl) as well as on the websites of individual schools participating in the project, i.e. Bielsko-Biała Industrial School, Bielsko-Biała Education Centre, Technical and Commercial Schools Complex, Automotive and General Education Schools Complex, Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Schools Complex and Building Schools Complex. All documents and materials, equipment and renovated rooms related to the project will have graphic signs in accordance with the rules on the promotion of EU projects.
