The aim of the project is to enable the regions and populations of the Bielsko-Biała subregion - Żywiec County to mitigate the social, employment, economic and environmental impacts of the transition towards achieving the Union's 2030 targets for energy and climate and towards a climate-neutral economy of the Union by 2050. The problematic situation regarding the transition to a climate-neutral economy, the transition away from fossil fuels, requires a number of actions to support the society of our region. Young people cannot count on finding work in mines or in the mining industry. The result of the project will be the development of vocational training in accordance with the needs of the region's transformation, thus increasing employment opportunities in RIS industries. The support will be addressed to students and teachers of educational institutions Pow. Żywiecki providing vocational education from the direction of education consistent with the process of transformation of the region in relation to smart specializations of the Silesian Voivodeship. It will consist in increasing the attractiveness and increasing the quality of teaching in the following first-cycle industry schools and technicians in Żywiec: ZSB-D, ZSEG, ZSTiL, ZSAiO, ZSS, ZSME and ZSZ in Węgska Górka and ZSOiT in Milówka. As part of the project, it is planned to implement comprehensive activities including: - courses and training, including green skills and career guidance, apprenticeships for students of vocational schools of the Żywiec County for the target group of students 712 (286K and 426M), - courses and training for teachers of vocational subjects, aimed at training and improving the competences of pedagogical staff - target group: 51 people (32K/19M). - purchase of teaching aids and equipping workshops to learn professions with the necessary equipment to improve qualifications and skills; - cooperation with employers and universities (students' trips to workshops, study visits). Implementation period: 10.06.2024 - 01.06.2026. Information on the project will be published on the website of the beneficiary as well as on the websites of the schools implementing the project. Subpages of the project will be created. The subpage will contain the required logos and information in accordance with the rules for the promotion and labelling of projects under FE SL for 2021-2027. In good time, information on the recruitment of participants will be posted on websites, as well as in information display cases. The beneficiary intends to place the required information boards and posters in visible places in the schools implementing the project. We intend to regularly post photos/videos to report on the project activities. The beneficiary will ensure that the information provided on the website is understandable to potential participants by applying the principle of simple communication, the information and documents will be available digitally. All information materials and project documentation will contain in a visible place the signs of the European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the signs of the European Union.
