The aim of the project is to support the development of high-quality vocational education in the Complex of Building and Ceramic Schools in Gliwice (ZSBC) in accordance with the needs of the region's transformation and the requirements of the labour market. Its implementation will be supported by the following actions: 1. Carrying out training/courses aimed at increasing the professional competences of 60 pupils (37M/23K), learners in the following professions: construction techniques, finishing techniques in construction, surveyor techniques, landscape architecture techniques, installation of finishing works in construction, renovation techniques of architectural elements, equipment techniques and renewable energy systems, and 16 teachers (3M/13K) teaching these professions. The support will be addressed to learners/employees in Technical School No. 4 and Industry School I Grade No. 4 in ZSBC. 2. Adaptation of professional workshops to standards reflecting real working conditions by equipping the studio with modern equipment, tools and software currently used in the taught industries. 3. Introduction of a new field of education in the field of emerging professions - interior design techniques in order to expand the educational offer of the school. 4. Modernization and retrofitting of the psychological-pedagogical office to create appropriate working conditions with a student with special educational needs. 5. Increasing the accessibility of the school for people with disabilities through the purchase and installation of a staircase platform. In the planning of the project, the requirements set by employers regarding the competences and professional skills of ZSBC graduates were taken into account. The expected result of the project will be the achievement of attractive and effective vocational education by ZSBC, which will increase the attractiveness of school graduates on the labour market and increase their professional competences. The project will be implemented from 01.09.2024 - 30.06.2026 in the Building and Ceramic School Complex in Gliwice, ul. Bojkowska 16. The applicant will carry out information and promotion activities in accordance with the provisions of the "Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion". It is planned to publish the description of the project on the Applicant's website in accordance with the requirements for the pages of projects co-financed by the European Funds and on the school's facebook page. An appropriate information board will be placed on the school's premises. All project documents produced during its implementation and information activities will be marked with the required signs. On the doors of the professional workshop, classrooms and therapeutic office covered by the support will be placed plates with information about co-financing from the European Union. Computer equipment, furniture and teaching aids purchased as part of the retrofitting of professional workshops will be taped with stickers informing about the financing of the purchase from EU funds. Students, parents, teachers and the local community will be informed about the start of the project, the schedule of activities, the conditions of participation and the nature of support through the school's website and electronic journal. Information will also be given to pupils on the school appeal through the radio node, and to parents at meetings and consultations.
