Professional transformation of the Technical School Complex in Rybnik

The aim of the project is to increase professional competence in the Rybnik Technical School Complex in cooperation with the environment, in particular employers, by developing cooperation between the school and its socio-economic environment. The project concerns the adaptation of the vocational education offer in accordance with the needs of a just transition for the needs of the local labour market and will be implemented by the Technical School Complex in Rybnik and neighbouring districts. The target group are students educated in the professions of electrical technicians, automation technicians and robotics technicians, as well as teachers of the Technical School Complex in Rybnik. The main goal of the project is to improve the practical skills of 150 students by organizing internships, internships abroad and creating conditions for vocational education reflecting natural working conditions. The project assumes the improvement of key competences and universal skills of participants. Increasing the professional competence of technical school students assumes the acquisition of additional skills beyond the core curriculum adapted to modern technologies used in the changing economy of Silesia in the period from 01.06.2024-30.06.2026. The project assumes: 1. Acquisition of new professional skills by 150 students (including 142M and 8K) of the Technical School Complex in Rybnik educating in the following professions: electrical technicians, automation technicians and robotics technicians through the organisation of courses and trainings. 2. Acquisition of additional didactic competences in the area of new technologies by 10 teachers (including 4K and 6M) of the Technical School Complex in Rybnik through participation in professional trainings. 3. Work placements for 40 students. 4. Performing internships abroad by 36 students. 5. Improving competences through the organization of career counseling for 150 students. 6. Implementation of innovative teaching systems based on new technologies and industry 4.0 in the Technical School Complex in Rybnik The Technical School Complex, as part of information and promotional activities, plans to: - placing information about the implemented project on the website of the city of Rybnik and on the website of the School; - informing about the implemented project through information posters; publishing articles about the implemented project in a local newspaper; - information meetings with parents of pupils attending school as part of the recruitment process for participation in the project; organizing open events during which the school and local community can visit new studios, learn about new equipment and talk with teachers and students about the benefits of the project; - organizing workshops and presentations for students who can be presented with new equipment, show how it works and what skills they can additionally gain. Information and promotional activities will be conducted in an adequate and accessible way for the target group, press releases and materials for websites will be created on the basis of an understandable and accessible language, at the same time meeting the accessibility standard. Due to the nature of the project (actions implemented in a school institution), which is in contact with the parents of students on a daily basis - no difficulties are expected in the information and promotional activities undertaken, including as part of the recruitment process for participation in the project. https://zstrybnik.pl/
