The power of scout relations in the process of transformation

The aim of the project is to increase the level of activity of local communities, including building and strengthening relations in the Silesian Voivodeship, in particular in the cities of Bytom, Radzionków, Żory, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Jastrzębie Zdrój, Lubliniec, Czechowice Dziedzice, Zawiercie. Activities in the project will allow building intergenerational cooperation, acquiring new competences, broadening public awareness of the broadly understood transformation process in the social, economic, economic and ecological spheres. The specific objective is to mitigate the impact of this process on the inhabitants of Silesia. The main tasks of the project are to develop a program proposal of classes for children and youth in order to acquire knowledge and work with transformation in a broad sense and to create and install innovative 100 figurines of "Harcer Guides" as an element of field games. This will allow to combine two aspects, to learn about nature and natural phenomena and at the same time to show harmful human activity in relation to nature in post-industrial areas. The games will also be based on local identity and learning about the history of the region and the related transformation. There will also be activation workshops for adults and field games for children and adolescents. Emphasis will be placed on ecology, environmental and climate education. The effects of the project include increasing the level of activity of local communities, raising awareness of acquiring new skills, competences and qualifications and working with transformation, as well as adapting the young generation to new changes. The Center for the Development of the Young Man and Parent in Radzionków and the Center for Environmental Education in Kokotek Leśnica will also be established, in addition, a mobile scouting will be purchased, which will allow the project to be implemented in many places in the 7 subregions covered by the OSI. Place and period of implementation of the project : group of places of 7 subregions covered by the OSI, January 2024 - June 2026. The applicant has planned information and promotion activities, which will be addressed to a wide range of recipients residing in the area of 7 subregions, information channels such as a website, social media, articles in the local press and information posters.
