The project assumes comprehensive actions, building the resilience of the local community to the consequences of the energy transformation of the region and increasing the conscious participation of the inhabitants of Rybnik in the process of climate change, while maintaining the identity of local ties with history and industrial heritage, especially intangible. The aim is to increase the level of activity of residents participating in the just transition process, by strengthening their social potential in the period 01.06.2024-30.06.2026. The answer to the challenges is a comprehensive project implemented in partnership with NGOs, including: -support for local leaders -environmental stress-working - animation of communities and environments along with the development of volunteering -construction, creation, running of meeting places for integration (model Local Activity Centres) and community cuisine as tools for combating energy poverty. -implement bottom-up local initiatives supporting the transition: ecology, heritage, social problems. -preparing an educational program and activities for school students developing entrepreneurial and civic attitudes, building adaptive capacity in response to the challenges of transformation and climate change - creating and running places for social dialogue and supporting the attitudes of citizens. residents, in particular leading women (Urban Lab) -education and promotion of local intangible heritage within the framework of the Regional Education Centre and the Archive of Remembrance - activities in, among others, the social campaign communicating the process of just transformation of the City of Rybnik and the region The result will be an increase in the resilience of local communities, an increase in knowledge of the green economy, ecology and the transformation of the region and conscious participation in it. Activities will be implemented mainly in Rybnik and in several locations outside (study visits abroad and domestic). The target group are people living, working or learning in Rybnik, a total of 4,690 people. Information and promotion activities will be carried out from the moment of receiving funding, i.e. signing the contract and in accordance with the rules described in the "Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion" and the "Guide for beneficiaries of FESL 2021-2027". As part of the project, a separate task is planned: An educational campaign of the just transition process, in which information activities on the process will be carried out, building acceptance of the climate, economic and social change of Rybnik. The campaign will use expertise in areas such as ecology, energy transition and will also communicate strategic actions related to the just transition process. As part of the campaign, it is planned to prepare a transformation communication strategy and constant support for social media (dedicated profile, using existing urban profiles, urban units, Partners and a number of entities involved in the transformation process). The communication strategy assumes reaching the widest possible group of recipients in connection with which diversified channels of reaching will be used: e.g. Rybnicka newspaper (paper edition dedicated to the elderly and electronic, available on mobile devices), bulletin boards, banners and citylights.
