The aim of the project is social inclusion - development of social and local activities, improvement of the quality of life and preparation of the inhabitants of the city of Żory to accept the process of transformation and climate change through comprehensive activities, i.e.: implementation of local initiatives aimed at developing social activity and improving the quality of life of residents of the city of Żory, - implementation of educational and awareness-raising activities in the field of green economy, ecology, in particular for young people, aged 15-29, - support and promotion of the role of women in the transformation process, consisting in building the potential of women as local leaders, - raising qualifications and increasing knowledge necessary in the transformation process, through participation in IT workshops, consulting with IT and with modern technologies and others (increase in digital competences), - organisation of educational, integration and improvement activities for children, youth and seniors, - implementation of study visits aimed at acquiring knowledge, exchanging information and experience, as well as learning about innovative solutions, - integration of residents through involvement in joint activities, e.g. participation in the experimental garden, - implementation of adaptation works in the Sandbox Park in Żory and in the ŻCOP room for participants in the project and eliminating barriers for people with disabilities, - promoting places of special ecological value in the Piaskownia Botanical Park, The project will be implemented in the city of Żory, in the period from 1 March 2024 to 30 June 2026. The target group in the project are people living, studying or working in the Municipality of Żory, with particular emphasis on women and people aged 15-29. The project will support 680 people, including 390 K and 290M. INFORMATION SUPPLEMENTED BY THE APPLICANT ACCEPTED BY THE PARTICIPATING COP WAS IN THE NEGOTIATION FORM Information and promotion activities will be carried out throughout the project, through various communication channels, implemented through: - Preparation of mat. prom.-inform. In the first phase of the project, the main messages will be developed, the basic content together with the graphics necessary to promote the activities in the project and to raise awareness related to the just transition; - Activities using the applicant's and the developer's own media. Regular information on the project and information on the just transition will appear on the website and in the social media managed by the applicant and the developer. The basic tool of prom.-inform. will be the website of the project and fb; - PR activities. Preparing press releases on the project and distributing them to local media, i.a. Courier Żorski; - Content marketing. Collecting, processing and sharing information on the just transition (e.g. competitions, inspiring initiatives); Event marketing. Arranging events during which the idea of just transition and project activities will be presented and promoted; - Email marketing. Building a database of actors, including volunteers, the ngo sector, local government and business, who should be involved in the just transition – cyclical preparation and sending of project information; - QR Code - development of a QR code to reach out with content about the project and activities, raising awareness about the just transition to recipients, especially young people. http://cop.zory.pl/
