Club of Local Initiatives - Transformation

The aim of the project is to take action for the benefit of the inhabitants and areas involved in the just transition process in Mysłowice , to develop social activity and to prepare for acceptance of the transition process and climate change, by animating and promoting the unique place of the revitalised Castle Park . The project will run from 01.04.2024 to 31.12.2025. The goal responds to diagnosed problems related to the lack of acceptance of change, low social activity, especially among seniors, women and younger people (15-29), and social problems of groups particularly vulnerable to the effects of the transition. The target group are people living, learning or working in the Katowice subregion, which is 1 out of 7 mining subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship, covered by the transformation area. The targets are in line with the Territorial Just Transition Plan (TPST). The final recipients will be in particular women and young people aged 15-29. The project will be implemented in the area of the city of Mysłowice. The objectives of the project will be achieved through: - implementation of an intergenerational integration program aimed at improving the quality of life, development of social activity and acceptance for the transformation process, - social animation activities for the climate transition process, - activities for the inclusion of women in the transformation of the region and the development of their managerial competences, - educational and awareness-raising activities in the field of green economy, ecology and transformation of the region, - implementation of 10 local initiatives. The result of the project will be an increase in public awareness of climate change and transformation processes and an increase in acceptance for them among 100 supported people, including 70 women and 30 men and their surroundings. An additional effect will be an increase in social activity through the implementation of 10 local initiatives organized by at least 40 people. As part of the implementation of the project, information and promotion activities about the obtained co-financing from the Funds are planned, implemented by the Leader, Partner and institutions with which cooperation will be established. As required, the following information and promotion activities will be carried out: - All materials and documents related to the project, such as leaflets, invitations, certificates, attendance lists, presentations of regulations, etc., will bear the marks of the European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union, as well as the coat of arms of the province or its official promotional logo. - At the site of the project, posters in A4/A3 format – 100, leaflets in A5 format – 500, Roll-up – 1 will be placed in the KIL building, informing about the project and its funding, and distributed in easily accessible places throughout the city. The posters will contain the title of the project, the name of the operational programme, the amount of co-financing and the signs of the European Funds, the colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union, as well as the coat of arms of the voivodeship or its official promotional logo. - In the social networks on Facebook and Instagram, in the KILprojekt profile and on the Applicant's website, a graphic and published information about the project will be prepared, containing a description of the project, its objectives, target groups, planned effects, signs of the European Funds, colours of the Republic of Poland and the European Union, and the coat of arms of the province or its official promotional logo. - For information and promotion activities, we will inform and engage the media. https://www.mostkatowice.pl/
