The aim of the project is to provide comprehensive support to doctoral students and to educate qualified staff of scientists who will contribute to the development of Polish science, innovation and health in society by providing high-quality scientific research minimizing the negative impact on the environment, and the development of the Doctoral School of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice (SD SUM) will ensure unrivalled interest from candidates. The assumptions of the project include: I. support for the development of scientific staff, including: 1. scientific support for doctoral students by obtaining additional sources of funding for research projects by co-financing the costs of scientific research necessary to acquire research skills, data analysis 2. support for publishing scientific papers and translations in the field of medical sciences and health sciences, which positively affects the scientific development of the region, allows scientific recognition and is important for promoting sustainable development and the use of natural resources in an effective manner 3. presentation of research results at national and international conferences that will enable doctoral students to present their results and exchange knowledge with scholars 4. support for doctoral students' trips abroad for scientific and didactic purposes II. support for the development of the Doctoral School, including: 1. Professional support by organizing workshops and trainings for administration in the field of soft skills related to interpersonal communication, personal development, creativity and hard-professional training related to the implementation of current school tasks 2. hiring staff and equipping the doctoral school aimed at increasing the recognition and attractiveness of education. Through the implementation of the above assumptions, the project aims to create a dynamic, innovative and open scientific environment that will contribute to the research success of doctoral students and the attractiveness and development of SD SUM Information and promotion activities are key to effectively reaching the recipients to whom participation in the project is dedicated. As part of the project, the following information and promotion activities are planned: 1. The website of the project, the website of the doctoral school and the home page of the University: Creation of a dedicated project website, which will contain information about the objectives, assumptions, benefits and news related to the project. The website should be readable, interactive and accessible to different devices. 2. Promotional materials: Development of promotional materials, such as leaflets, posters and brochures, which will contain the most important information about the project. These materials can be distributed at the university, sent to the e-mail inboxes of the young academic staff 3. Social media: Active presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram will allow you to reach your audience. Publishing content related to the progress of the project, events, achievements of doctoral students and scientists will attract attention. 4. Cooperation with the Doctoral Student Council - dissemination of information about the possibility of participating in the project among all SUM 5 doctoral students. Information meetings: organizing an information meeting of the Director of the SD with doctoral students. The presentation of benefits, program and opportunities for development can encourage participation.
