The main goal of the project is to increase the attractiveness of education at the Silesian University of Technology in the period 1.01.2024 to 30.06.2026, due to the lack of adaptation of the educational offer to the changing conditions and needs of the labour market, by extending the offer for students, graduates and students - learning, living or working in one of the 7 subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship - in the field of the green and digital economy, including high-quality career counselling, entrepreneurship and training raising competences, internships and practical classes, carried out in close cooperation with employers, enabling them to increase their competences and adapt to the requirements of the modern labour market, and thus prepare high-quality staff, which will allow for effective implementation of the transformation process in the region. The project assumes increasing the attractiveness of the university's offer by: - equipping professional advisors with specialist competences - modernising the infrastructure of the CI, adapting to current digital needs, the needs of people with disabilities, including people with reduced mobility and hearing impairments - individual career guidance, consultation with an entrepreneurship advisor, career coaching and mentoring, a report on current trends and directions of labour market development, periodic surveys of students' opinions - deepening cooperation with Employers: organization of job fairs, workshops, monitoring of needs and expectations - promoting the idea of entrepreneurship in academia, the "My Idea for Eco-Business" competition in the areas of the green and digital economy, training shaping entrepreneurial attitudes - high-quality internships - practical classes and career advice for students The key result of the project will be obtaining the status of an entity of the higher education and science system, which adapted education to the needs of the development of the economy and the green and digital transformation. - PS Student Newsletter (USOS) - Newsletter for students registered in the ABK database (2500 recipients) - Open days at the faculties (direct information company) - Promotion in printed materials (urban websites, PS newsletter, information brochures) - Cooperation with student self-government and faculty organizations, including scientific circles - PS, ABK websites and social media, Alumni Portal - Cooperation with urban education faculties, schools, direct promotion of the offer in institutions - Presentation of the offer at education fairs, open days in secondary schools, school-wide events Information and promotional materials will be tailored to the needs of people with disabilities; the main communication tool will be media and electronic means, in order to optimise paper consumption (posts, messages, links, QR codes; possible printing on recycled paper) – in line with the principle of sustainability. It will be used to mark FE, EU, Silesian voivodship with all information, promotional activities and documents in accordance with the guidelines of the Manual of Applicant and Beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion. It is also planned to place a poster or information board at the project site and in all rooms where classes will be held.
