The main goal of the project is to create attractive and effective education and upskilling in mining subregions - at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice - in connection with the transformation process, directions of the green and digital economy. The implementation of the project is planned from 01.January 2024 to 30. June 2026. The target group will be: scientific staff and doctoral students of the Silesian University of Technology, in the first place from the Institute of Physics - CND, the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy, the Faculty of Mechanical and Technological (MT), Environmental Engineering and Energy (IŚIE), the Faculty of Automation, Electronics and Computer Science, and doctoral students carrying out research in the above-mentioned units of the university. These are people who, on a daily basis, take up in their scientific and/or didactic work the subject of transformation, the green economy. In the survey and further deeper diagnosis, these people pointed to problems resulting from the lack of funding, in particular research, publications or conferences, as well as indicated the willingness and need to improve their qualifications or didactic or scientific competences. All these people conduct research that fits into the topics related to the reduction or monitoring of carbon dioxide, and often also, among others: other pollutants, climate change recorded in various environmental archives, are actively involved in the development of innovative solutions in specialized low- and zero-emission electronic systems, with particular emphasis on photovoltaic systems, the widespread use of which will significantly contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions in the energy industry, or in the construction and research related to the construction of electric cars, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions. This is a particularly important topic in the era of the energy transition. Information and promotional activities will be carried out primarily with the use of digital tools available at the Silesian University of Technology - creation of a website, using social media, placing information in the university's newsletter, on the website of the university and the Institute of Physics-CND, on the websites of relevant POBs and on the project's own website. The other actions are: Marking of FE, EU, Silesian voivodship with all information, promotional activities and documents in accordance with the guidelines of the Manual of Applicant and Beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 in the field of information and promotion. Placing a poster or information board at the project site. Information and promotional activities were also planned through active participation in scientific events such as Researchers' Nights, Science Days, participation in conferences, through the publication of articles in which there will be information about funding from the project. Articles and presentations during the conference will contain information about the project. The information will be sent to the university units so as to ensure access to all interested parties, in particular to trainings, workshops, working people, learners, residing in the selected area (Gliwice) of the subregion of the Silesian Voivodeship, in accordance with the Territorial Plan for Just Transition of the Silesian Voivodeship 2030. http://www.polsl.pl
