The aim of the project is to prepare 2,500 students of High Schools from the Just Transition (ST) area from 5 subregions: Rybnicki, Gliwicki, Bytomski, Katowice and Sosnowiecki to study courses that prepare future professionals to work in the sector of Modern Business Services in Silesia. Currently, approx. works in this sector in the province. 35,000 people and in the near future, as a result of the energy transition, this industry will generate additional tens of thousands of jobs (ABSL 2022 report). The professions commonly found in the sector can be identified, among others, specialists in accounting, finance, customer service using IT systems (eg. ERP), logistics processes, and the higher education courses that make up the above-mentioned staff include IT, civil engineering, transport, management, and economics. These directions are linked to the green and digital transitions of the economy, as they provide quality jobs that are friendly or minimise negative environmental impacts. As part of the support, implemented in the period of: III.2024 - VI.2026, each student will receive comprehensive support preparing to take up and maintain their studies in Silesia. The acquired skills (including digital and green) will be the basis for students to continue their educational and professional development at a higher level in Silesia in the broadly understood NUB sector. The above assumptions: Strengthening cooperation between higher education and secondary education, providing the student with advisory support, outgoing workshops at the university, help in passing the high-percentage baccalaureate exam in science subjects, courses preparing for studies related to the possibility of obtaining an additional certificate by the student as part of the Integrated Qualifications System, with learning effects inscribed in the effects of higher education courses, will allow to retain qualified staff in the region who will find employment in new, developed industries. The scope of information and promotional activities in the project: -information on the project (recruitment, individual activities, effects) on the websites of the Leader, Partner and Schools and on social media; -information in local (electronic) media; -regular face-to-face meetings with parents, pupils, social and social environment of schools; -development and distribution in schools, local government units, project materials, scope of support, etc. uploading photos from trainings, classes, workshops to social media, - organizing a conference (meeting) summarizing the project, achieved results, achieved goal and presentation of products developed in the project. Various activities and communication channels will be used during inf.-prom. activities. In the materials, we will avoid stereotypes that perpetuate unfavorable images, e.g. the division of women's and men's roles in consciousness.
