The aim of the BioMeDiG project is to comprehensively support the development of scientific staff and doctoral students of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology (WIB PŚ), increase the quality and availability of the Faculty's educational offer, support students of secondary schools, as well as intensify the transfer of knowledge and technology to / and from the economy along with the development of the potential of Silesian biomedical engineering in the face of the challenges of the digital and green economy. As part of the project, the following activities will be carried out: 1) Support for knowledge and technology transfer, in particular in the field of the green and digital economy (including industrial internships of researchers in domestic and foreign companies, HUB in digital technologies in medicine, practical training in domestic companies). 2) Increasing the attractiveness, quality and accessibility of the WIB PŚ educational offer for intelligent transformation of the region (including training for academic staff in the field of soft competences, shaping digital competences, national student internships). 3) Retrofitting of scientific laboratories and laboratories (e.g. retrofitting 9 specialized laboratories, retrofitting to doctoral research positions). 4) Support for secondary school students (including training, workshops, practical classes, individual mentoring support for secondary school students). 5) Comprehensive support for the development of scientific staff, including doctorates, in particular in the area of the green and digital economy (co-financing of participation in conferences, publication costs, individual support for doctoral students). The target group of the project is 1702 people: academic staff (59 pers.), doctoral students (13 pers.), students of WIB PŚ (310 pers.) and students learning in secondary schools. Public appearances – information to the public about the funding of individual activities under the project. 9. Press articles - press releases to local and industry media about the implementation of the project. 10. Clear indication of the place, dates and rules of recruitment.
