Purchase of a modern rescue and firefighting car for TSO Bolmin in the Commune of Chęciny in order to counteract the effects of natural disasters and remove their effects

The project will consist in retrofitting the Voluntary Fire Brigade in Bolmin, which has been included in the National Rescue and Firefighting System since 23 December 2019 – the inclusion decision is attached to the application. The scope of the project includes: 1. purchase of a heavy rescue and firefighting vehicle with 4x4 drive (basic parameters in the description of the task), 2. purchase of heavy equipment to reduce or eliminate the risk to the environment - hydraulic tools 1 set (basic parameters in the description of the task), 3. purchase of equipment to reduce or eliminate the risk - a boat with a trailer and an outboard engine (basic parameters in the description of the task), 4. purchase of high-specialization clothes - Diver's equipment - dry suit 2 pcs. (basic parameters in the description of the task), 5th promotion of the project – creation of information and promotion boards, posters, stickers. 6. indirect costs, including but not limited to: accounting services, remuneration of the person conducting the proceedings under the project and the person responsible for the financial settlement of the project. The project will be implemented in the Świętokrzyskie voivodship, Kielce poviat, Chęciny commune. The rescue and fire-fighting car and equipment purchased under the project will contribute to: • Improving the safety conditions of residents of the municipality of Chęciny and residents of the Kielce district – the purchase of a specialised rescue and fire-fighting vehicle and life-saving equipment will undoubtedly improve the safety of residents of the municipality and the district. The new car will arrive at the scene in less time. Modern equipment will allow to provide professional and effective assistance to injured persons. • More efficient and faster recovery from natural disasters (fires, floods) (road, environmental) – purchased hydraulic tools will be used by the guards in difficult situations in road and rail accidents. They can also support actions during construction disasters. With their help, it is possible to release the wounded by cutting, sliding, lifting beams, doors, elements of building structures. A rescue boat and a diver's outfit will allow you to quickly reach the drowning man and help him. The boat planned for purchase is especially dedicated to swimming in water reservoirs. The low bottom allows for efficient movement around shallow bodies of water and efficient mooring. The new car will be more efficient and will arrive at the scene of the accident in less time. • Improve and upgrade the Bolmin TSO equipment by purchasing a new heavy-duty rescue and firefighting car and life-saving equipment. At present, the TSO has a 19-year-old car that is heavily worn out and defective, the purchase of a new car is necessary for firefighters to be able to efficiently conduct rescue operations. The unit does not have hydraulic tools in stock, a boat with a trailer and an outboard engine, a dry suit for work in water 2 pcs. • Attention to the state of the environment. The new car will be definitely more environmentally friendly (less combustion), but also cheaper to operate for the unit itself (less failure rate). Less fuel consumption means less emissions to the environment. The new car will reach the scene faster, e.g. a fire caused by burning grasses, which negatively affects the environment. Faster arrival at the scene of the incident will contribute to reducing the effects of the fire. Other equipment will also contribute to the protection of the environment. • Improving the safety and working conditions of firefighters (both professional and volunteer); It is associated with numerous threats occurring not only during rescue operations, but also during exercises. All purchases planned under the project will contribute to improving the safety and working conditions of firefighters.
