The main objective of the project is to purchase equipment to carry out rescue operations and remove the effects of catastrophic events or serious chemical and ecological accidents in the Commune of Mniów, the Kielce County and the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship by purchasing a heavy rescue and firefighting vehicle with a 4x4 surface-mounted drive along with equipment for the Voluntary Fire Brigade in Mniów. As part of the project, a heavy rescue and firefighting car will be purchased. The purchased car will be equipped with the latest, currently available rescue and firefighting equipment, which will improve the safety of residents of the commune, the Kielce county and the Świętokrzyskie province. The equipment that is planned to be purchased will be used, among others, to rescue and remove the effects of catastrophic phenomena or serious chemical and ecological accidents. These will include: portable water-foam gun, slurry motopomps, nozzles, power generators, heat-resistant clothing, air apparatus with breathing masks. As a result of the implementation of the project, TSO Mniów will purchase equipment that was not previously in its possession, which will expand the scope of possible actions aimed at increasing the level of fire safety. The age of the most expensive piece of equipment TSO Mniów is 46 years. The DAF medium-sized car owned by the unit was produced in 1977. If the subsidy is received, the TSO Mniów unit will replace the old, worn-out and worn-out, medium-sized car with a new, heavy one, which will increase the unit's potential. The area of operation of the TSO Mniów lies in the immediate vicinity of the Konecki district, which is one of the areas most threatened by large-area fires in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. In the Kielce district there are industrial plants with an increased risk of a major industrial accident. In the area covered by the TSO Mniów there are areas of natural value - forms of nature protection such as: Świętokrzyski National Park, landscape parks, nature reserves, Natura 2000 areas and natural monuments. Remiza TSO Mniów is located directly on the national road S74. The implementation of the project will contribute, among others, to: 1. Improving the safety of residents of the Commune of Mniów, the Kielce district and the Świętokrzyskie voivodship. 2. Increase the effectiveness of providing assistance to victims of road accidents, fires, environmental disasters and natural disasters. 3. Faster and safer access to the scene. 4. Improve rescue operations. 5. Improving the safety of firefighters of the Voluntary Fire Brigade in Mniów during rescue operations and removing the effects of catastrophic events. 6. Improvement and modernization of equipment of the TSO unit in Mniów. 7. Strengthening the strength and position of TSO Mniów in Kielce County. The new car will allow for shorter travel time to the scene of the accident and faster, more efficient assistance to injured people, which in many cases may be associated with saving lives.
