Purchase of a fire engine and equipment for the TSO Brzezie in the municipality of Pawłów in order to prevent and recover from the effects of natural disasters

The project will consist in retrofitting the Voluntary Fire Brigade in Brzezi (hereinafter referred to as the TSO Brzezi), which from 4 April 1995 was included in the National Rescue and Firefighting System (hereinafter referred to as the CRSG) - the decision to include the annex to the application. The scope of the project includes: 1 purchase of a specialized heavy rescue and fire-fighting car with a 4x4 drive 2 purchase of specialized heavy equipment to reduce or eliminate the threat to the environment - Column spreader for hydraulics Portable water-foam cannon 3 purchase of other equipment to reduce or eliminate threats - smoke venting fan 4. purchase of high-specialization equipment Compressor for filling cylinders. basic parameters in the description of tasks The project will be implemented in the Świętokrzyskie province, Starachowice county (84 514 inhabitants) Pawłów commune (14 886 inhabitants) CSO data as at 31.12.2022. The main goal of the project is to increase the effectiveness of counteracting the effects of natural disasters and faster removal of the consequences of disasters in the Starachowice County and the Pawłów Commune The rescue and firefighting car and equipment purchased under the project will contribute to: • Improving the safety conditions of residents of the municipality of Pawłów and the district of Starachowice – the purchase of a specialised rescue and firefighting vehicle and life-saving equipment will undoubtedly improve the safety of residents of the municipality and the district. The new car will arrive in a shorter time not the place of the event. Modern equipment will allow you to provide professional and effective assistance to the injured person. • More efficient and faster removal of the effects of natural disasters (fires, floods) (road, environmental) – column spreader for hydraulics made it possible to release the wounded faster by cutting, disassembling, lifting beams, doors, elements of building structures. The water and foam cannon is used to extinguish fires with the use of water or foam and is a necessary equipment during fires of residential houses and / or outbuildings. Significant ranges of projections of fire extinguishing streams and angles of rotation in the horizontal and vertical planes make the plot have the largest tactical range of all products intended for the administration of fire extinguishing agents. The smoke fan will allow faster adaptation of the area to search for people during a fire in a smoky room. Cylinder loading compressor necessary for the preparation of rescue equipment. • Improve and modernise the equipment of the TSO Brzezie by purchasing a new heavy-duty rescue and firefighting car and life-saving equipment. At present, the TSO has an 18-year-old medium car (scan of the registration certificate attached to the application), which is heavily used. • Attention to the state of the environment. The new car will be definitely more environmentally friendly (less combustion) but also cheaper to operate for the unit itself (less failure rate). Less fuel consumption means less emissions to the environment. The new car will reach the scene faster, e.g. a fire caused by burning grasses, which negatively affects the environment. Faster arrival at the scene of the incident will contribute to reducing the effects of the fire. • Improving the safety and working conditions of firefighters (both professional and volunteer); • The extension of the scope of possible actions aimed at increasing the level of flood and/or fire safety of the TSO in Brzeziu was established in 1957. Currently, the TSO represents 47 bridesmaids: 45 ordinary, 1 honorary and 1 supportive. There are three women among the bridesmaids. The TSO participates in sports and firefighting competitions. In 2018 OSP took 4th place (out of 17 teams) in the District Sports and Fire Competition. In 2022 The youth team took 3rd place.
