Objective and scope of the project: The main objective of the project is to increase the efficiency of rescue operations and environmental protection through the purchase of specialized equipment. In addition, the project provides for the purchase of other equipment to reduce or eliminate environmental risks, including specialized heavy equipment and clothing and high-specialization equipment. The project aims to increase the ability to respond to environmental, fire and flood hazards through the purchase of modern, specialized equipment. The project also includes educational activities aimed at increasing public awareness of climate change, rational use of environmental resources, protection of non-renewable resources and promoting safe individual and group behavior in situations of ecological, fire or flood risk. Detailed stages of the project: 1. Conclusion of a contract with the equipment contractor: At this stage, the Beneficiary will carry out the process of selecting the contractor to provide the required equipment. This process includes the preparation and conduct of public procurement procedures and the conclusion of a contract with the selected supplier. 2. Purchase and supply of equipment: After the conclusion of the contract with the contractor, the purchase and delivery of equipment will take place. At this stage, the Beneficiary will work closely with the contractor to ensure that the equipment meets all requirements and is delivered on time. 3. Personnel training:Training will be provided by experienced instructors from the TSOs, who will be trained beforehand by the equipment supplier. The training will cover both the theoretical principles of operation of the equipment, as well as practical exercises on the manoeuvring area. Training will be carried out within one month from the date of delivery of the equipment. The costs related to the organisation of the training will be covered by the budget of the TSO 4 unit. Implementation of educational activities: The project also includes educational activities aimed at increasing public awareness of climate change, environmental protection, rational use of environmental resources and supporting the protection of non-renewable resources and promoting safe individual and group behavior in situations of environmental, fire and flood hazards. These activities will include workshops as well as educational materials available online. In addition, promotional materials such as posters and information brochures will be prepared and distributed as part of the educational activities, which will be available in public places. 5. Monitoring and evaluation of project effectiveness: Once all stages of the project have been completed, the Beneficiary will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the project to assess whether the objectives of the project have been achieved. To this end, the Beneficiary may use different methods, such as surveys, interviews, observations, data analysis, etc. 6. Planned information and promotion activities: The project foresees various promotional activities, such as publications on the project website, and promotional materials. These activities are aimed at informing the public about the objectives of the project, as well as promoting environmental awareness and safety. Actions already taken by the Beneficiary: At the moment, the Beneficiary has started the process of selecting the equipment contractor. To this end, the Beneficiary submitted requests for proposals to potential suppliers. These inquiries were prepared and agreed upon in accordance with the needs and demands of the Voluntary Fire Brigade's bridesmaids, who will be the end users of the equipment. The received proposals were analyzed and the equipment that best meets the requirements of the project was selected.
