Reconstruction and expansion of the Economic School Complex at ul. Langiewicza 18 in Kielce.

The project concerns the reconstruction and expansion of the SEZ at ul. Langiewicz in Kielce for a new complex of didactic and workshop buildings, in which young people will learn practical apprenticeships in conditions similar to real ones. The project complies with the specific objective for measure 5.1.ERDF.CP4.II. Currently, the voivodship lacks a modern public vocational training center for the following industries: gastronomy and tourism, food and hotel. According to the indication ‘Occupational Barometer, Report summarising the survey in the province of St. John the Baptist’. 2024’, in the voivodship, a chef was indicated as a deficit profession, and in the scale of m. Kielce, a confectioner. In accordance with the Regional Innovation Strategy of the War. Saint Francis of Assisi 2030+ among the identified smart specialisations of the voivodship are health and pro-health tourism and the horizontal area - the trade fair and congress industry. The project is therefore a response to the identified needs for the development of staff in these industries. Smart specializations have a great innovative potential and a significant impact on the economy of the voivodship. As part of the project, activities are planned to improve the availability of vocational education infrastructure in the city of Kielce and the region and to create a didactic base in the area of smart specializations of the province of St. John the Baptist. (tourism, congress and exhibition industry) and shortage occupations on a provincial and m. Kielce scale. Existing workshops in vocational schools do not provide adequate conditions for practical education, which limits the opportunities for students to obtain a better education. Currently, the SEZ does not have a large number of equipment that could serve the employees of the institution and students in teaching and acquiring knowledge, among others in the profession of confectioner and baker. The most important stages of the project: RB, Promotion, Investor supervision, Purchase of equipment and equipment. The selection of contractors will be carried out in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and applicable regulations and guidelines. The subject of the project is the construction of a new complex of didactic and workshop buildings with equipment and the construction of communication routes around the school and land development. The project of extension and reconstruction of the SEZ with school workshops provides for the creation of a facility functionally linked to the existing school building. The designed building will meet the needs of the school for rooms in which students and listeners, especially those educated in the following fields: chef; confectioner; Hospitality and tourism services will learn practical apprenticeships in near real-life settings. Promotion in the project will be carried out in accordance with Art. 47 and 50 of Reg. EP and Council no. 2021/1060 of 24.06.2022 and Guidelines on information and promotion of the FE for 2021-2027. A detailed description of the promotional activities can be found in Section D Task and Section I Additional information. The investment area includes plots no. 415/1, 415/2, 415/3, 415/4, 415/5, 415/6 area 0024 in the Kielce cadastral unit. The plots are the property of the Beneficiary. The school has a fully regulated right to dispose of the property for construction purposes. In addition, technical documentation is prepared. Due to the nature and location of the investment, no environmental decision is required. The final building permit was issued in 2020 and the Construction Journal was established. Output indicators: Class capacity in new or modernised educational establishments – 1056 people, Number of retrofitted schools – 3 pcs, Number of facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities (ERDF/FST/FS) – 1 pcs, Number of projects financing reasonable accommodation costs for persons with disabilities (ERDF/FST/FS) – 1 pcs, Number of rebuilt or extended schools – 3 pcs. . Result indicators: Annual number of users of new or modernised educational establishments – 700 users/year, Number of users of facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities – 3 persons/year.
