The main objective of the project is to strengthen the health potential of WSS employees by eliminating health risk factors occurring in the workplace, including extended medical diagnostics, providing workplace ergonomics and physical activity.The specific objective is to support active and healthy ageing and adapt work environments to the health needs of employees.WSS employs 885 employees (as at 31.01.2024):745women(K)and140men(M), including103people with disabilities.Number of employed women<50years of life is506,a>50 years239.Number of employed men<50years of life is96,a>50years of life44. In order to diagnose the need and health problems, an anonymous survey was conducted among employees reflecting the age structure and occupational groups. The analysis of the surveys allowed to identify areas for improvement or improvement of actions aimed at solving or alleviating health problems of employees in the workplace.The surveys were distributed to all employees employed under an employment contract. Refunded521of which: medical workers total 408surveys of which 361K(230<50years,96>50years of age and 47M(31<50years,6>50years of age).Non-medical workers total113surveys of which:83K (64<50years,18>50years of age) and 30M(11<50years,19>50years of age). Surveys returned by persons with disabilities 43(35K,8M). The analysis of the returned surveys shows that people reporting health problems up to 50 years of age are 294K and 42M while over 50 years of life are 127K and 25M.Some of the respondents did not mark the age (33 people). 86% of respondents feel severe stress related to time pressure (87%K, 13%M),68% of employees indicated that they suffer from back, tips and neck pains related to lifting (88%K, 12%M), and71% due to static work (89%K,11%M). 79% of employees indicated their willingness to participate in physical activities outside working hours (86%K,14%M), and 91% expect to improve the ergonomic equipment of the workplace ((86%K,14%M), and49% express their willingness to perform additional preventive tests.The project complies with the principle of equality between women and men, which results from surveys that take into account the gender of respondents and their individual needs.Project activities, such as diagnostics, physical activities, training are available to hospital employees regardless of gender, in accordance with the principles of equal treatment.The WSS will ensure equal access to health support and improvement of working conditions for employees regardless of gender and degree of disability.The WSS strives to ensure that employees have the opportunity to take advantage of the activities offered under the project that will help them maintain good physical and mental health in order to improve their work comfort and professional activity.The project takes into account the principle of sustainable development by providing activities that respond not only to the current needs of employees, but also without disturbing the natural and spatial balance.The activities undertaken under the project do not adversely affect the balance in any way, and even will be undertaken in the spirit of these values, e.g. through the use of recycled ecological materials to create design documentation printed bilaterally.The project will be implemented in the name of the principle of "do no significant harm" (DNSH), through the promotion of ecological practices in the workplace and health education, which encourages a change in attitudes in favor of the natural environment. The articles of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union are respected in the project, ensuring equal opportunities before the law, non-discrimination, equality between women and men, integration of persons with disabilities and protection of the environment.All activities are in accordance with the principles of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and anti-discrimination provisions, providing opportunities for employees to participate in the project regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, sexual orientation, or other personality traits.
