The skylight's a plus.

The main objective of the project (P) is to counteract and minimize the effects of social exclusion of children from dysfunctional families experiencing difficulties in fulfilling care and educational functions, families receiving social assistance, large families, families with disabilities in the process of preparing children and adolescents aged 3-6 years (8K7M) and 6-16(15K15M) years from the area of the Starachowice Commune for independent living, shaping appropriate social attitudes by covering them in the period from 01.03.2024 to 28.02.2026 with comprehensive care and educational support. in free time from school activities. The main objective will be achieved by: 1.Extension of the offer of the existing Day Support Centre operating in the form of an community centre in Starachowice, ul. View 10a, about creating new places for 15 children (8K7M) aged 3 to 6 years and covering them with care and educational support. Currently, in the municipality of Starachowice, there are 1846 children between the ages of 3 and 6. (922 ch. and 924 d. data UM VIII'23) The diagnosis of UM in Starachowice shows that the number of children enrolled in preschool education in urban institutions (8) in the year Szk.22/23 was 855 pers. (i.e. 46%) and in non-public squares (5) 455 people (i.e. 24%). The diagnosis of the research shows that there is insufficient support and care for the youngest children, especially those who have not been enrolled in urban kindergartens, and their carers cannot afford paid private care. The self-diagnosis (survey VII'23) carried out among families benefiting from CUS benefits (Gr.research.70 pers.) shows that 93% are interested in expanding the existing facility with new places for the youngest children and providing them with care and upbringing. A number of developmental and compensatory activities for children are planned, the implementation of which will contribute to achieving the best possible results in children's development. Classes met with a positive reception among respondents: classes: Rhythm (90%), Animation (87%), Learning English (90%). Hence the need to expand the offer and create a "Toddler Club" that includes temporary care for children 3-6 years old, thus enabling their caregivers: undertaking professional activation, work as part of intervention work, commissioned, handling official matters, using services offered by CUS or other entities for the proper functioning of the family. 2. Extending the offer of the existing Day Support Center for children currently attending the common room, i.e. gr. .30 pers. aged 6-16 years. with the launch of development and educational activities aimed at awakening and deepening interests, individual predispositions, developing social and emotional abilities, supporting children in discovering creative opportunities through additional classes. The current number of places in the existing facility on the day of submitting the application for the grant of projects is 30 places. The analysis of needs surveys (Greek: 30 pers.) shows that 100% of participants attend classes in the form of "interest circles" (97%), educational and sightseeing trips.(100%), sports and recreational activities (87%).Starachowice is characterized by a high number of people using social assistance in 22r -1602os.(992 births). The main reason for using the assistance was: unemployment (952 persons), poverty (890 persons), (1011 persons), disability (646 persons), alcoholism (329 persons), helplessness in caring matters (502 persons) (CUS '22 data) Importantly, the number of parents/carers at risk of poverty and social exclusion in the city of Starachowice is much higher than in the city registers. This is confirmed by the diagnosis in the Municipal Revitalization Program for the Municipality of St-ce for the years 2016-2025. The experience of running a common room confirms the conclusion that the biggest problems of children are: failure to cope with emotions, youth depression, school difficulties, social exclusion, low material status, lack of opportunities to invest in their own talents and interests.
