The aim of the project is to strengthen the organisational potential of the ‘Blask of Hope’ Foundation in the period 01.02.2025 – 31.03.2025 by developing the skills of 7 people (6K/1M) who are staff of the foundation, improving the quality and increasing the availability of the services provided. The Glow of Hope Foundation was established in 2012 to work in the field of health protection and promotion, science, education and education, and social assistance. The Foundation's activities are aimed at the individual, his mental, physical, intellectual and social well-being. F. conducts activities improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of Kielce and the Kielce poviat, thereby pursuing statutory objectives. The Foundation's activities include assistance and activities for people with disabilities, people affected by serious, incurable diseases, people waiting for difficult or expensive medical treatments, hospitals and medical institutions, educational, educational and care facilities, assistance and action for the poor, health protection and promotion, undertaking and supporting activities in the field of promoting health prevention. The activities of the foundation include patients of Kielce hospitals and medical institutions, students of schools and educational institutions, participants of senior clubs, charges of other foundations and associations. The activities in the project strengthening the potential of the Foundation are thus in line with the purpose of the particulars. ESO4.11. Enhancing equal and timely access to quality, sustainable and affordable services, including services that support access to housing and person-centred care, including healthcare; modernising social protection systems, including promoting access to social protection, with a particular focus on children and disadvantaged groups; improving the accessibility, including for persons with disabilities, effectiveness and resilience of health systems and long-term care services, by targeting health protection and promotion activities in the broad sense to all inhabitants of the region, including persons with disabilities, the elderly, children and young people, active people and people at risk of social exclusion. The project is a response to part of the Foundation's needs, which were defined in the Foundation's Development Strategy for the years 2024 - 2029 (the strategy was approved by the Management Board on 03.04.2024 and published on the Foundation's website (link: https://blasknadziei.pl/development-strategy-2024/). The document shows that increasing the availability and strengthening the quality of health care activities and broadly understood pro-health prevention, for the inhabitants of Kielce and the surrounding area, are actions necessary in the construction of today's local society, which results from the socio-economic situation of the region (ageing of the population, low birth rate, permanent stress, unhealthy lifestyle and too little physical activity resulting in an increase in civilization diseases, e.g. diabetes, hypertension, obesity). The Foundation's statutory activities are a response to the growing social demand in the area of health and thus fit into the Regional Programme European Funds for Świętokrzyskie 2021-2027 Priority: 7. Healthy and active people and Priority: 9. Social and health services (cond. in the description of the cost-free task).
