The implementation of the project includes the construction of a new route of the provincial road No. 527 on the section from the border of the city of Olsztyn to the railway viaduct, i.e. the construction of ul. Novo-Baltic. As a result of the project, traffic will be directed to the undeveloped area, and ul. The Baltic Sea on the section from the borders of the City to the railway viaduct will obtain the status of a local road. The new section of DW 527 will run through the undeveloped area from the city border to the railway viaduct within ul. Baltic Sea and will continue to run along the streets: - further continuation of ul. Baltic Sea (DW 527), -al. R. Schuman (DK51), -ul. the Home Army -al. Warszawska (DW 527) (the final section from the city border in the Kortowo district to the ‘Południe’ junction The project includes: 1. Construction works - construction of a section of the main route at ul. Nowobałtycka category G - double carriageway (capacity up to 11.5 t/axle), sidewalks, bicycle paths, pedestrian-bicycle paths, exits, bus bays, construction and hardening of fragments of side roads - construction and reconstruction of intersections, - construction of a road viaduct over the railway line (stacades) and an underground passage within ul. Kanarkowa, - construction and reconstruction of culverts on watercourses, - construction of lighting, - drainage of rainwater from the road lane - felling of trees and shrubs colliding with the planned investment and green areas within the boundaries of the planned road lane, - execution of traffic organization elements (horizontal and vertical markings) - installation of traffic free devices (fences, dividing islands), - traffic lights, - removal of collisions with devices under and above ground (water supply, sewage, gas, electricity and telecommunications networks). - construction of a technological channel, ITS (road traffic control) system, vehicle inspection sites, bands, retaining walls, - demolition of residential and utility buildings - construction of anti-noise, anti-glare screens, herpetological fences - other infrastructure related to the implementation of the project. 2. Promotion Total cost: PLN 271 974 414.80 planned co-financing: PLN 167 855 654.21 land, works, supervision outside the road belt The enterprise will improve the links between the regional road network of the Warmia and Mazury region and urban roads located in Olsztyn and the TEN-T network, which is important in the road system. It will complement the implemented transport investments, including integrated territorial investments of the Olsztyn Municipal Functional Area, responding to the needs of many target stakeholder groups. Improving local mobility as a result of the project will have a significant impact on the local economy, cultural heritage, territorial cohesion, as well as social integration and environmental protection. Properly organized transport will contribute to improving the quality of life of residents, improve the conditions for business development and increase the level of competitiveness of enterprises, strengthen the tourist attractiveness of the region and, as a consequence, will act as a stimulus for the economic development of the region and the state. It also serves the development of neighbouring municipalities and Olsztyn, giving a chance to strengthen its economic position. The project was included in the War Transport Plan.
