The project fits into the following types of projects in accordance with the SZOP: - Development of integrated and systemic climate change adaptation measures in urban areas, including in particular cities. - Adaptation to climate change through the development of micro and small water retention. - Construction, reconstruction or renovation of water facilities (as defined in the Water Law Act) and associated infrastructure to reduce the effects of droughts and floods on small hydrotechnical infrastructure: dry tanks, flood polders, increasing the spacing of river shafts. Scope of the Project: Task 1. Municipality of Kostrzyn - Active protection of wetlands in the city centre of Kostrzyn, in order to adapt to climate change: - the subject of the task is the reconstruction of a recreational pond along with the construction of functionally related facilities. The facility will have a capacity of 25,770 m3. Task 2. Municipality of Suchy Las - Construction of water retention system in the area of the natural park Sucholeska Łąka: - the task is to develop and implement a system for regulating water resources, including regulating retention by controlling flows using the Internet of Things. In the scope of the task is the reconstruction of the water device of the ditch along with the execution of the flow of the retention reservoir (pow. 787m3), reconstruction of its slope; elimination of the culvert and restoration of the ditch bed in its place; execution of 1 water device - inlet to the existing culvert and delivery and installation of a meteorological station. Task 3. Śrem commune - Adaptation of Śrem commune to climate change - construction of blue-green infrastructure: - the object of the task is to modernize the pocket park, 20 October Square in Śrem; construction of 2 eco-stops and additional plantings in the commune. Area of green infrastructure built/modernised to adapt to climate change - 19.66 ha. Task 4. Commune of Murowana Goślina - Active protection of the peat bog in the commune of Murowana Goślina as an element of the urban system of the ecological corridor: - the subject of the task is the development of a rainwater collection area of 10 707 m2 at the 600-year-old housing estate as an ecopark. Area of green infrastructure built/modernised to adapt to climate change - 1.07 ha. Task 5. City of Poznań - Green Network: Downtown - City - Metropolis: - the subject of the task is the revalorisation of urban squares and public green spaces; development of small, currently paved or degraded spaces in decorated green areas; development of nursery areas through the introduction of nature-based solutions. Area of green infrastructure built/modernised to adapt to climate change - 8.94 ha. Task 6. Commune of Rokietnica - Water retention and development of green areas in the Commune of Rokietnica: The subject of the task is: - creating a comprehensive programme for the protection and restoration of trees for the area of the municipality of Rokietnica (tree inventory, tree care plan, design of new plantings); - construction of parks in 3 different locations. In one location, reclamation of the water reservoir is assumed, and in the next, leveling of the area along with the formation of the retention area. The capacity of both small retention facilities will be 4222 m3. Area of green infrastructure built/modernised to adapt to climate change - 4.15 ha. Task 7. Municipality of Oborniki - Management of rainwater and meltwater in the Municipality of Oborniki: - the subject of the task is the construction of a system for dispersing rainwater and meltwater on the surface of approx. 0.14 ha using absorbent wells / drainage boxes in Dąbrówka Leśna (district ul. It's cheerful). Task 8. Metropolia Poznań Association - Educational and promotional activities. Detailed data on the effects of the Project can be found in Part IV of the WoD. The project will be implemented in partnership between the Poznań Metropolis Association and the above-mentioned University of Technology. Local authorities that will carry out tasks on their territory.
