The investment is crucial in the context of contemporary environmental and urban challenges. Thanks to the implementation of the project, residents of Konin and the Kramsk Commune will have the opportunity to use alternative means of transport, which will reduce car traffic and, as a consequence, reduce noise and air pollutant emissions. The increase in the number of bicycle and pedestrian users will contribute to the reduction of exhaust emissions, which is crucial in the fight against climate change. The project assumes the construction of modern walking and cycling roads, which will be integrated with the existing road infrastructure and public transport, which will enable efficient and safe communication between different parts of the City and the Municipality. The project also aims to adapt public spaces to the needs of all residents, including persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility. An integrated pedestrian-bike system will ensure equal access to urban infrastructure for all, regardless of their physical capabilities. This will improve the quality of life of residents, enabling them to move safely and comfortably. The new pedestrian-bicycle roads will be designed to minimise the risk of accidents and collisions, which will increase the safety of all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. This investment aims not only to improve safety, but also to promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging residents to use bicycles and walk. In the area of the City of Konin, the investment assumes the inclusion of the beginning of the planned route in the existing pedestrian-bike route located on the right side of the Relief channel. Then the route will turn south and after crossing the watercourse with the designed footbridge, it will join the designed road at the height of the crown of the flood embankment located on the right side of the Warta River. The route of the road was led on a shelf located on the side of the vented shaft. The designed road will integrate into the existing communication system at the height of Podwale Street. To illuminate the road and pedestrian crossing (fragment ul. Underground) aluminum lanterns will be used. Complete lighting sets (integrated with the luminaire) will be used to illuminate the pedestrian-bike thrust. The investment involves the construction of 1,106 km of walking and cycling roads, a footbridge and additional infrastructure: Lighting and small architecture. In the Kramsk Commune, the planned pedestrian-bike road will be located on the left side of the district road No. 3210P, the road begins at the planned intersection with ul. Sand in the village of Anielew, runs partly in the road lane and partly in private areas and ends at the intersection with the internal road in front of the village of Grąblin. The planned pedestrian-bike road will run along the roadway alternately in the place of the existing roadside and the disappearing road trench at the border of the belt and alternately in private areas in the area of existing fields and wastelands, along the road there are planned descents to the property and intersections with internal roads and planned municipal roads. In addition, on the route of the road at the primary school, the construction of a bus bay and the construction of two bicycle parking places were planned. The investment involves the construction of 2,889 km of walking and cycling roads with complementary infrastructure, i.e. two parking spaces for a total of 16 bicycles and the construction of rainwater sewerage along with drainage.
