The subject of the study is the extension of the DW190 on the section from Margonin to Durowo - Stage II – the section located in the Wągrowiec district from km approx. 47+563.95 to km approx. 58+649.88 (the fragment refers to the section located in the district of Chodzieskie, m. Próchnowo). The decision to select this project for co-financing from European funds is primarily due to the need to increase the transport accessibility of the region, strengthening the links between individual areas of the Wielkopolska region, including the TEN-T network (S5 and the A2 motorway). The road was designed after the existing trace of the provincial road. The beginning was located on the border of districts (the place of connection to Stage I of the expansion of the provincial road No 190 on the section Margonin - Pawłowo Żońskie). The end of the study was linked to the planned construction of the Wągrowiec bypass. The extension of the DW190 was designed in a way that ensures optimal use of the available road lane and in a way that minimizes the purchase of private land while ensuring the greatest possible fluidity and traffic safety. The planned investment includes, among others: - demolition and reinforcement of existing road surfaces, - construction of the road surface of the provincial road and intersecting roads, - reconstruction and extension of intersections with public roads, - construction of engineering facilities (4 pcs. of culverts with a box section, 12 pcs. of culverts with a circular section), - construction of islands sewering and slowing down traffic, - construction and reconstruction of slopes, - construction of a two-way bicycle path lengths. 4,420 km and a walking and cycling path. 2,750 km (on selected sections), - construction of pavements (on selected sections), - construction of bus bays, dirt roadsides, slopes with husking and sowing grass and/or fortification, roadside drainage ditches, - construction and reconstruction of rainwater drainage and road drainage elements, - construction and reconstruction of road lighting, - reconstruction and protection of conflicting technical infrastructure equipment, - execution of horizontal and vertical markings, - construction of traffic safety elements, - reconstruction of fences, - demolition works of existing road elements, - felling of trees and shrubs, - installation of greenery. Rainwater and meltwater from the planned provincial road will be drained from the road surface primarily by means of longitudinal and transverse slopes to the designed drainage ditches. The collected water will be discharged to existing receivers (drainage trenches, possibly to water reservoirs located within the investment). In the areas of the village, in built-up areas where, due to the lack of space, it is not possible to make drainage ditches, a rain sewage system or drains with ducts to a one-sided ditch have been designed. The planned project will not have a negative impact on the environment – it will contribute to the fluidity of vehicle traffic and thus reduce exhaust emissions and noise. The investment aims to increase Wielkopolska’s transport accessibility and traffic safety. DW190 plays an important communication role in the area under consideration. Thanks to the expansion, the availability of adjacent areas will be improved. It will enable the development of local investments that require smooth and trouble-free access, provide easier connections of bus transport, improve the safety of using this communication. The project will be implemented outside Natura 2000 sites.
