The scope of the project includes the reconstruction and extension of the existing building for educational purposes related to the statutory activity of the Teachers' Improvement Centre in Poznań. The buildings, designed in accordance with the principles of universal design, will create a modern education and training base, which will significantly contribute to the increase in the level of quality of education in the region. The purpose of the buildings is, among others: individual work rooms, computer workstations, conference rooms, open-space for methodological advisors, green studio, conference rooms and webinar rooms for remote classes. In addition, parking spaces and technical rooms will be secured. ODN buildings will be energy efficient, adapted for people with disabilities and mothers with children. The investment is planned at Feliksa Nowowiejski 56/58 and Sporna 16 in Poznań. The reconstruction and extension of the complex of buildings, in cooperation with the municipal conservator of monuments, will include the revitalization of the building from the 1930s for administrative and office purposes of educational institutions. The interior of the existing building will be rebuilt and adapted to the needs and requirements of the Teachers' Improvement Center by warming from the inside, changing the layout of the rooms, installing a personal elevator, making new hygienic and sanitary nodes and teletechnical installation. Currently, the building is connected to another building with a glazed connector, which will be opened as part of the reconstruction and will take the form of an arcade leading to the internal courtyard. The area of the reconstructed building is: 918 m2. The extension of the building for conducting the educational activity of ODN will include a four-storey building with an area of 1930.38 m2. This part of the building will house 9 modern workshop and teaching rooms, including one multimedia room. Some of the rooms will be equipped with mobile walls that will allow you to adapt and arrange the training space to modern methods of working with adults. On the first floor there will be the necessary space for the work of methodological advisors, together with webinar rooms enabling online training and rooms for collective and individual consultations. In addition, in the same building will be located a multimedia recording studio, the so-called. Green studio, enabling the preparation of modern teaching materials, including film materials, and the collection and sharing of e-resources for teachers and schools in Wielkopolska (Green studio will not be made available to other entities for a fee). The dimensions of the building, its height and width of the front façade, will be harmonized with the neighboring buildings, and its location refers directly to the original urban layout designed by architect Władysław Czarnecki. A garage hall with 29 parking spaces for ODN will be built in the basement of the buildings. Buildings and the surrounding space will be adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities by means of lifts, lifts and appropriate markings. Induction loops will be installed, roads will be marked for blind and visually impaired people. The material scope of the project will include the reconstruction of building E, the construction of building F and the construction of a garage hall – G.
